No weekly meet, best we manage is once a quarter and its' just the usual people that have been coming for the last year and a half+ I see so many WRXs and STis now, they are all over the ****ing place, no one ever acknowledges me though. I've see you a few times the last couple weeks Vaus, but I'm always in some ****ty University Truck/Van.

I always wave to oncomming subies... and some of them wave back. Why don't we start up a more regular meet? I think a lot of the subies here aren't on the forums, so we should print up some cards to hand out and to put on cars. That should get some heads.

weekly meets is a nice idea, but i dont think enough people are seriiously interested in such a meet. i mean, many of us have irregular hours, and some of us still commute to and from school from home. some of us have 'kung fu' lessons and stuff, basically i think that we'd get good results for the first 2 weeks, then it would just dwindle down.

i dont even wave anymore, its too much frickin effort to wave lol.
although there is one hot girl in a silver wagon.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

well if any of you ever change your minds, like SonicSuby said, come to the Sacramento meets. The guys are really cool. I drive for about 20 minutes from my house in Citrus Heights and its no big deal to me, its well worth it... we still have guys who moved up to reno who still come back, now that is a drive...

Hell yeah, I was driving down from Tahoe last winter every couple weeks to make the Sac meets (well, it helped that my folks live near Sac, so it was a two for one deal, but still).

i would be down for some sort of meet in davis, and the every other week thing sounds like a good idea. however, i too have a really irregular work schedule as well. but i would make it to whatever i could.
even if we don't get a regular meet going, lets get some meet set up in the near future, perhaps around the beginning of the qtr. or something???

sorry I haven't responded.. been a busy week. Is anyone up for a pre-fall-quarter-meet on the 28th of this month? I think it would be nice to get this thing started before classes start and most people should be back up in Davis by the 28th. If that date doesn't work for someone, I'm open to changing it. Guad is great, but I doubt we'll be able to find enough parking in that lot. If anyone else knows a good place to eat with lots of parking, come forth with your suggestions :)

there is the guad in south davis with a larger parking lot and an outdoor eating area.. it is off the mace exit on 80, right near the nugget.

yeah, i didn't know about it either until last week. there is also a sears i didn;t know about, though the sears is just the home appliances and stuff, not the tools. take 80 east to mace, exit mace and it's in the shopping center with the nugget, to the left of the nugget.
