There seems to be a lot of subie owners around central indiana but not many of us in the northern part.

Im in merrillville/crown point in the NW..

Were you at the movie theater in Schererville on Saturday around 7:00 on Saturday.

My G/F and I went to see the new Bond movie and when we came out there was another WRB WRX parked close to us. In fact she started walking toward it thinking it was mine, since we rarely see another one.

Nope wasn't me :)


I work pretty much at broadway and 30.. so if you see an evil looking wrb, honk :)

I assume your talking about showplace 16... I've had too many friends get stuff stolen out of that lot :(

Yeah it was at Show Place 16, I just forgot the name. That doesn't suprise me alot people get things riped off there.

I'll keep an eye out for you. I always try and honk or wave if see another RS or WRX on the road.

Do you have any visible mods? Mine is stock except for the Scoobysport axle back.

I think I've only seen 2 impreza's of any kind in this area.. a black wrx bought from lynwood with the STI axelback
and a wrb sedan that lives on 55 in crown point.

I'm from Terre Haute but I visit Indy a lot so ya might see me zippin around. My car is pretty much blue stock WRX except for an after market muffler, and 17" wheels. Give me a holla if you get together some place.

Let me know when you go to IRP. My buddies go out to IRP and race on Tuesdays during the summer. Cost is $10 to race for as many runs as you can get in on the 1/4mi track. They give you a print out of your times. Any other Scooby drivers in Indy want to join up with us, they are welcome to come as well. There is a TDI with $6k worth of mods in our group that I want to shut down.

I just bought my 2003 WRX (Platinum Silver) a week ago and I was cruising around Fishers. Nearly got run off the road by a B4C cop. Saw a nice Silver WRX on 96th street as well.

Hey, just checkin in from down south in Bedford [Bedrock].
I ran my 02 WRX at the Indy SCCA events this summer and had a blast! Its alot more fun than just going in a straight line. I own a stereo shop, let me know if anyone needs any gear for their scooby. check out dcrankenstein.net

Woohoo to Indiana. I actually live in Illinoise now, but I've got family and friends in Indiana so I play for both sides. :)
When I cruise out there I am either in Valparaiso or in the Lake Country area (Merriville, Crown Point, and Sherrilville).
Anyway, I drive a blue '03 wrx with Indiana plates.

I definitely appreciate the offer and will take you up on it when I can. Unfortunately, I can't. At least not for another 2 years or so.

I'm stationed here in Oahu (yeah, I know it's tough but someone's gotta do it). Been here a little over a year and won't be coming back to the mainland until they send me. Even if I came, it's $800 to ship a vehicle, so I'd probably be drag racing with my pop's old Lincoln. Ha.

Thing is, I can't wait to see how I'd do. I've got over 50 passes here on my sleeper wagon, but it would seem that track conditions and weather make for generally about .3 slower times than y'all are getting on the mainland. Maybe fact, maybe fiction. Plus I've got a UTEC w/o any dyno capability. I'd love to have someone smarter than myself tune it.

Is anyone on here from Montgomery County?

Hey guys I live in Fishers Indiana(close to indianapolis). I would love to chill with some people at IRP sometime maybe in the summer or sooner. I dont know how old you guys are but im 17. Also, do NOT hate on me i dont have a WRX, i have a 2001 civic with buncha stuff like OEM bodykit and 17s....im saving up and selling my car for WRX.--just lettin you guys know--I have a lot of friends that go to IRP and street race here in fishers all the time. I am very new to this site but i like it. I might go to purdue after i graduate next year....what year are you (whoever wants to make the impreza purdue club)? so ya keep talking on this thread and everyone in INDY keep in contact. thanks later

Also, COLDZERO are you up in fisheres a lot? im always on 96th street so you might have seen me before by steak and shake or something. I have seen a few WRXs around i saw a nice black sedan with tinted window yesterday on 96th...

getting a subie really soon.....really wished i had it this past week, damn!! :)

I'm here at Ball State in good ol' Muncie, IN. Don't got my Rex yet but come this spring I'm gonna have me a nice '02 Red WRX...oooh man I can't wait!

I'll be here for the summer and would definitely be into getting together and havin fun hangin with fellow Subaru owners...that'd be a blast. Btw, I don't know if the guy is registered, but there's a bangin Blue WRX that I see around campus alot, has a body kit, some Gunmetal rims and a nice loud TurboXS BOV, I like!


ps. My previous car was a 1st gen Talon TSi, I'm pumped to get myself into another turbo car, a practically NEW one :) BTW this is my first post on i-club.com w00t!

Anyone up around Northwest Indiana? I'm over in Portage Indiana. Have a 2002 Black WRX sedan. Just started to try out autocrossing with SCCA last year. It's a real blast! Would like to see more WRX's out there. The Northwest Region of SCCA seems to be a great group of people.

I work in Portage, but live in Valpo.

I have yet to see another WRX in Portage yet but I'm always looking. If you see someone with a WRB WRX with big mud flaps and a Thule bike rack thats me.

K i saw a blue wrx with tint exaust window banner on 82nd street by castleton square mall a couple weeks ago...is that anyone here?

I was just rolling through 96th street in fishers tonight trolling. I live in Castleton. Did you go to the import/rice meet at Circuit City, on Saturday night? Some rent-a-cops showed up and everyone pretty much cleared out. Was kinda funny. You should attend our monthly meetings on the north side. A good chance to talk to people that know a lot about Imprezas.

cold zero hell ya i was there saturday night at circuit city it was pretty tight.. some really really nice rides. I was the one with the kid in the 3000gt vr4 that was gonna get into a fight with the kid tony with the white eclipse lol.. if you saw me roll by i was in my 2001 civic tint 17s and some other stuff....so ya i didn't see any wrxs tho i was very disappointed tell me more about yuor meets i can get a lot of people with nice cars to come hang out. keep my posted later.

Also if you saw the guy with the black focus to the "tray trick", ya i was in the passenger seat =) it was fuuun.

I live in Pendelton and travel daily (work) to the Pyramids area, spend a lot of time in Fishers on 96th Stret also.

Bone stock WRB '02 WRX with a IMS License Plate is my daily driver. bought it Memorial Day weekend. I do really love driving this car, a little more low end with the A/C on would be nice though.

I usually give a wave to other Rexers when i pass.

Would be interersted in this montly meeting i see mentioned in other postings if i had more info, like where and when and how big a group it is.

I live in Kokomo, IN and am a real performance enthusiast. I come from the Nissan SR20DE world. I am the creator of www.sr20deforum.com and have all kinds of experience and a great place to work at. People come from states around just to work in my garage and have them help them with modifying their Nissans. I have done numerous engine swaps, clutch jobs, you name it, at my place here in Kokomo. Purdue WRX - I'd love to have you come over and help you with you intake ane exhaust or whatever you mentioned. We've had a 2000 Outback for about a year now and really want to learn more about it. It's frustrating knowing so much about one motor and nothing about the other. The only Subaru I have experience with is our Outback so I don't know if it runs/drives "properly."

I officially would like to have a meet at my place. I have a 4 car garage that's heated and air conditioned, all the tools you need, and an attic full of (Nissan) parts. :) Who's up for a meet? I'm actually doing nothing this labor day weekend so I wouldn't mind having a few folks over.
