They are supposed to be working on a new version that will allow the BOV to be kept. If not, the BOV will sit in the garage. Which would you choose, BOV or TMIC? :D

ya thats a universal C-West Type I aluminum GT wing but it doesn't really fit the stock holes (i had to drill about 4 more)

the Rims you have... how dp they compare to the stocks? I know the performance was increased, thats a given, but as far as everyday comfort how does it feel and look?

I was been following articles on the WRX for a few months now (almost a year). Car and Driver got some SSR 17 inch Rims fitted with Kumho 712 supras 235/40. Every1 so far has only been using 225/40 of 225/45 (Sport Compact Car mag). Is there any difference in the two? I just saw that the Evo VII hase 235/45 for there stock wheels so i wanted to match it.

I want the SSR competition wheels but I can afford the Rota's when i get the car.

2 SSR wheels = 4 Rota wheels w/ tires 17's lol

Is there any Real everyday difference between say Rota's and SSR or Rays. Im not taking my car to the track anytime soon (no track around here) but i do want something strong enough so if i do go to 1 i wont be driving on the bottom of my car after a hard turn.

Really need to find a good place that can make an STi lip for a wagon. Nothing as big you guys are doing, just a few homemade odds and ends.

i have a white too. its pretty stock. i only have an HKS BOV and timer (not installed yet). now im seeing a lot of white wrx's. im kinda laning on the blue one now. i wanted a black in the first place but the dealer didnt have it. all in all im not regretting. ill post pic real soon

i'm sorry, i've always kind of hated the white but damn, these are some fine examples of kik-a$$-dom. your cars look awesome! m roadster and whiterabit, nice job. like the dark tint and gold wheels and wing too... like the contrasting hood scoop... sweet.

i had a silver 02 wrx and now have a sedona red 03. lets face it, the wrx is one of the few cars that look good in silver. but red is what i wanted the first time around. still like all the colors currently offered on the wrx though with white being the newest member!

Nice aspen white rex! Got a couple questions for you. What % if tint is that on the windows, and on the front windshield how far did you got with that black strip of tint? Reason I ask is I am going to do the same thing with my sonic yellow rex, but don't know how far to go down on the windshield. I was going to do to the bottom of the rear view mirror, where it actually is attched to the windshield...

Nigel: thanks! to help answer your questions, i have 20% tint all around which was done by a shop when i was still living in Indiana. Sure they have tint laws there but nobody really gives a crap about them including the police. So far i haven't been hassled by police here as well, but part of that might be because i'm still retaining out of state plates. Also the tint strip in the front windshield is at least 5-6 inches wide, a little wider than i wanted but now i've grown to appreciate it. Plus it hides my radar detector so you can't even tell from the outside that i have it on my windshield.

White is the most popular car color in Japan by some ridiculous margin, like 35% of new cars or something like that....

O O O I just bought a WHITE WRX WAGON 04... I will post next weeks pics. I live near College Park, MD and I NEVER have seen a White WRX (sedan or wagon) in the area, even the dealers around here only get a hand full... 6 white WRX's ive seen in the past 2 years at the dealerships

wrxwagon2b, I'm in Kensington, MD. Looks like we'll have like two of maybe 5 white WRXs in the area (and it's a very WRX-heavy area). This does mean that we get to compete with Dave Chu now, who has what is certainly the world's coolest white WRX, featured in this month's "modified" mag.

Those are Wedsport SA90s with Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers.

I still have a ways to go, but right now I have turboback exhaust, mbc, ecutek, uppipe, lightweight pulley. As for the outside, the JDM STI hid's, prodrive front lip, STI hoodscoop and basically the rims. Its still going to be left somewhat looking like the way it is right now... but I'm still planning on getting a whole lot of more stuff :D

Happy_Days, what kind of rims are those? I think I've made my decision, gold rims all the way for my STi :D... looks so good on white that it made me tear up.

Happy your car is hot! Loving the nice and clean look. Some JDM HID projectors would look tight.:banana:

happy_days: VERY NICE, my only suggestion is a STI scoop and either clear or carbon side markers

As for clear side markers, I'm not sure if i will ever go that route. I modded them to flash along with my front turn signals. White ones would be a lot less noticable and is against the law where I live. (unless it's a clear sidemarker with a yellow bulb, anyone know what color stock bulb is?)

And JDM lights.... oh man.. They are just too expensive. I've been modding the car totally for performance. But I would love a set of jdm lights, who wouldn't.

STI scoop, I'm still thinking about it. I kinda like the stock one because it's discreet. ^_^

Personally I think the rotaSDR's or prodrive GC-07's in 17" are just too small looking for the more "Bulgy" looking STI. Either you need to slam the thing or get 18" GC-07's like my couz is getting.

I agree the STI needs 18's. However the STI bbs rims look absolutley SICK on your car, really awesome!

You think the bbs' look good on my car? I think they look a little too plain. (I love gold). I would'nt keep them just because they are so hard to clean.

hey driftin s14 do you like you s14 or wrx better a bastard ran a redlight and totaled my s14 yesterday and im going to get a wrx finally. So i was wondering if i should get a s14 with a sr20 or a wrx. i test drove a wrx last night and liked it.

I think it all depends what you're looking for in a car. Like.. performance wise; how much horse do you want and how much the engine can put out without losing reliability. Looks wise; some think wrx's are ugly. ^_^

yeah i do think wrx's are pretty ugly. but i know over time i can make any car look really good. btw can you tell me really quick, because my wheels are good still. There advan model 7's 17X8 with a 40 something offset. Is that ofset to high to look good on a wrx.

What are those rims? They look sick! I am trying to decide on rims: black w/ a silver lip, bronze/gold, gunmetal w/ silver (like yours), or gold with silver. What do you, or anybody else think? This would be on a white wagon. besides colors, does anyone have suggestions on what type or size tires? I have no clue. I was thinking Rotas, volks, prodrives, or the buddy club p-1s.

Ouch. Totalled?

I like both my S14 and my WRX. They are completely different cars. The 240 handles MUCH better and is a better *drivers* car, where as the WRX is a much better commuter and daily driver. I love the agility and looks of the s14 and the grip and "stock sportiness" of the WRX. Since you cant get a new S14 I would say get the WRX. You will miss some things, like the handling and the seating position but will learn to love others.

Finally got her back. She's been totally repainted and a new fuel system top to bottom. Gonna sell her soon, but I had to throw the sti wheels on for a while. Is it just me, or do the sti wheels look better on all subaru's, than they do on the STI.

sweet!...how much was the kaminari lip? and where'd you get it from?

Bought it from an i-club member for around $300. Paint shop screwed up and painted the CF lip along with everything else. They refunded me $285 to buy a replacement. I think that's going to go towards the matching Kaminari sideskirts. :D
