Big Brake Kit for sale Cheap!!
Hi Everyone Here is a description of the brake kit I am selling. $500 + shipping
I got rid of the car and I am just cleaning out the garage.
THE BRAKE MAN SUABRU WRX BIG BRAKE KIT
I am selling My Big Brakes off of my 2002 WRX.
They were used for 1 year and have maybe 8k miles on them.
They come with almost everything you need to make your WRX outbrake a porsche 911!! I have proved this on the track at NHIS. I am very impressed with the performance of this system. The only thing you will need to buy to make this system work on your car is a proportioning valve ($30 from the brake man) and new brake fluid.
Check out www.thebrakeman.com for info on the design of these calipers and other components.
The Kit includes 2-13" 2 piece front rotors, 2-F4 tornado calipers (freshly rebuilt at the brake man $200) SS front brake lines, mounting brakets and all hardware (you may need bracket shims) as well as a new set of race pads ($100) fairly new street pads ($65) and rear caliper race pads ($100)
Also included in this sale is larger rear rotors and caliper carriers which help to balence out the system. This system would cost well over $2000 to duplicate, but since I dont have the car anymore it is of no use to me.
There is one downside to the product, Due to the salt on the roads around New England The calipers and mounting brackets have gotten pitted. This is a purely cosmetic flaw and will not effect the braking performance at all. Just as a precaution I sent these to the manufacturer to be over hauled and checked out. You could get rid of the markes by having the calipers powder coated.
If you have any questions or want more pics please email me.
