so lately I got this winning noise from my alternator, and the dude from my local oil change place told me the bearing is going bad, and I might need a replacement of it pretty soon. and he said the cause is because I've got aftermarket amps, and put too much stress on it. is it true? cause my amps are only like 60rms and 150 rms???

Get the alternator checked and find out. If all the guy does is change oil then he might not be the best person to listen to.

Whining could be as trivial as having the auxiliary belt driving it too tight so the bearing's whining, either that or it is actually going bad but it'll be a while before it needs replacing.

Check the tension, perhaps loose it up a bit not so much as to make it slip though.
