overhauling suspension?

hey, i was wondering, most brands like tein, jic, cusco, zeal, etc. reccommend overhauling every few years, even for regular street use. Does anyone actually do this?

Yes. I have sent out few sets of CUSCO's back to Japan to get overhauled. It is a good thing to do. It will take some time to get it back, but I think it is worth it, as they will be back to "new" condition, pretty much.

Oh yeah, some brand coilovers are not re-buildable and some are.

How much does it typically cost to have a set of Cuscos rebuilt? I just got a set of used Zero-2's and am intrested in doing this.
