View Full Version : Need to find wide body kit.
Alpine Sube 11-23-2002, 02:30 PM Anyone know where I could pick up a wide body kit for a 00 GC8. I really only want the front fenders right now. Also what else has to be done to the car to make it look right besides the wheel spacers, do you have to do anything to the brake system???
Thanks
MATT

STiNightFall 11-26-2002, 02:03 PM dosent the aqua wide body kit for the WRX go for like 1g's or something like that? anyone know where to get it cheaper?
Alpine Sube 11-26-2002, 08:03 PM as far as i know the wide body kit for the GC8 doesn't have anything to do with the front bumper, it's just a fender thing. Plus I don't really think regular search engines are going to do it.

Alpine Sube 11-26-2002, 08:04 PM Oh yeah this kit is carbon fiber or something and goes for like $2500 bucks.

p1mpreza 11-27-2002, 04:37 AM YOu should go and do a search on the old i-club because about a couple of weeks ago some dude was in the process of building a 22b style wide body kit and he was almost done. I cant remember on what forum but just do a search and youll find it.
RS22b 11-30-2002, 01:43 PM his name is SteveR on nasioc.com
He is almost done with his car and making the final adjustments and whatnot. The car does look good and i think the entire kit goes for something like 2500 in CF and comes with brackets for the bumpers to stretch and spacers for the wheels.

ravent 12-01-2002, 08:51 AM Try www.knightmotorsportsinc.com but it will look strange with the wide front (3" each side) and no rears. Then all you need is to fill the wheel wells. It may be www.knightmotorsports.com
ATX25RS 12-01-2002, 01:35 PM www.trial-usa.com
www.do-luck.com
those are some pricey kits, but very nice
go go go 12-01-2002, 02:00 PM why front only? If you leave the track narrow, then you'll get a big gap between front fender and the front wheel.
I don't think you should run wide track in front and narrow in the rear.
WRC STYL 12-01-2002, 08:14 PM hpi racing has a complete 22b kit for about 5800.00 us.
have not been able to find one though.
STi Ver 1 12-03-2002, 04:06 AM there's no vendor in the US for HPI yet. There will be in January. www.jouleusa.com. The kit is about 3500.00 over here(Japan).
