I have a stock '03 WRX and was wondering if there are optimum shift points for each gear to get max performance with no bogging down or loss of thrust?

its pretty much agreed upon by everyone, that until u make substantial changes that would affect where peak HP would be... shifting at redline is key for drag racing...

Actually the best shift point varies with each gear. A good average number is near 7000 rpm, but you can improve on it slightly by adjusting your shift points slightly for each gear.
