Pardon the newbie question, but I'm curious. I want a stealthy look for my STi, so I'm thinking about a front mount intercooler and a reverse cowl hood so I can ditch my STi hood scoop. But I don't like the carbon fiber look on a white car, so I'm wondering if I can get the hood painted. Will paint stick to carbon fiber?

Suggestions?

yes, you can paint CF. Any decent body shop should know how to prep and paint CF.

I think he's refering to the pressure drop you will experience when you go front mount, since the piping length will be 2-3x longer than the stock tmic setup.

Side effects of that include increased lag, how much lag i'm not sure of, but there a few threads that discuss this, i suggest doing a search.
