..I don't have them "blacked out" per say, but I do have the headlight mod done with my "carbon fibor look" paint ;)

I'm trying to get some folks from www.bimmerforums.com to meet up on Sunday at Champps in Reston to eat and watch the Super Bowl if anyone is interested. The more the merrier.

How long would you expect it to take? I work shifts so my schedule is somewhat erratic as well. Would you have time next weekend (fri-sun)?

Good deal. I'm off Wednesday- Thursday this week and off Fri-Sunday of next week. When's good for you and suggestions on paint (still unsure of color, I've got a silver wagon). Did you follow how Koji did it and do you have any leaking?

I plan on putting my mbc on Thursday so wish me good luck.

I can probally meet up thursday, i get out of class at 3pm so anytime after that id good for me!

WRX-U, Brian- damn it only takes you an hour to do the mod?! thats fast!

Anyway Jake Brain seems to have a more open scedule, but if he ends up falling through let me know and i can see what i can do. I used a Satin type paint for mine, like the ones that people use to repaint there windshild wipers with. I have had them for over a year and had no problems with leaks or anything like that. Also mine is done to a GM6 not a GDA but the peocedure is the same.

Well I'm really indifferent as to where we meet but obviously somewhere with a garage and oven would be beneficial for the headlight mod. Anyone have some ideas?

Regarding the lights....Did you have to cut pvc pipe to surround the turn signal blinker?

We need someplace where its not cold, but if its going to be outside...lets just do the usual at starbucks.

People are planning to get together Friday at RTC, between 6 and 7pm, and then go up to B&N , gert there between 8 and 9 to meet up with the MD guys, there were all planning on either going to D&B or to go shoot pool somewhere.

Jake i think willy was refreing to a meet rather then a install party.

okay so refresh me....friday you guys are meeting up in VA at fridays...but what is RTC? i just joined this club a few weeks ago...fill me in.
i just wanted to meet on thurs and see some cars but if you all have something planned on fri to head up to rockville, i guess thurs is pointless. so if you all are meeting up at "Fridays" which fridays is it?

RTC is cool wit me.

People are planning to meet at RTC, yes Reston Town Center,(around 6 to 7pm) in there parking gurage near Ruby Tuesdays usally every one meets at the top there, then we plann on gettin food somewhere around there, then Heading up to B&N, Barns and Nobble, to meet up with some MD people then we are either going to go to D&B, Dave and Busters ( which you have to be 21 to get in and before 10pm i belive under 21 yrs old can get in with someone that is 25 or older, which is one reason people are leaning away from going there i think) or to a pool hall around there to go shoot pool.
