I'm not afraid of guns, i'm afraid of the people behind them. If bush wins again i'll be booking a flight to australia. Is there anything this man can't do? I mean seriously... And to think all this time i thought Pouges couldn't shoot I almost shot the blade off my M88 the first time I fired an M2 off the turret mount. Happy? ;) Oh, and I only got to qualify on pop-ups with the M9. Who doesn't get expert on that, besides tankers? :p And what the hell is a pouge? The tankers couldn't make fun of us after a maintenance crew qualified an M1 on our first run... I was loading. I think he did... Shame on you, dub2w. dub2w 07-19-2004, 12:43 PM uhh, read: "I hope". Oh the ironies.... Accusations of "character pictures" (sic???) fly amongst doing the same thing to me. kudos Salty. Kevin M 07-19-2004, 12:45 PM uhh, read: "I hope". Oh the ironies.... Accusations of "character pictures" (sic???) fly amongst doing the same thing to me. kudos Salty. The only character picture I draw from your 2-line posts is that your grammar is only marginally better than that of a 6th grade AOLer. dub2w 07-19-2004, 12:45 PM btw, I said hope cause I truly like people like gdogg. The guy is a man of faith and stands firm in his convictions. So Salty, as much as you want to give you the monkey, it's  all around edited for egregious error dub2w 07-19-2004, 12:46 PM The only character picture I draw from your 2-line posts is that your grammar is only marginally better than that of a 6th grade AOLer. lmao. speaking of 6th grade... that was the last time I had a pissing contest but I do miss them! Kevin M 07-19-2004, 12:50 PM lmao. speaking of 6th grade... that was the last time I had a pissing contest but I do miss them! The point is, it's rather dull debating with someone when their points take a back seat to simply trying to translate their posts. Why leave yourself open to interpretation? dub2w 07-19-2004, 12:55 PM your right. My grammer may come out funked when I am trying to actually work. But I cant help it... I-club draws me in. And btw, generally I am (politically) long-winded so I guess I have made advancements when I can type a sentence and keep my yapper shut. I have had myriad exchanges with other political dissidents and uber-nationalists on this forum and love every minute of it. I mus confess, though, that there has been more funk as of late. Maybe just cause it is the stress of summer :) dub2w 07-19-2004, 01:00 PM The point is, it's rather dull debating with someone when their points take a back seat to simply trying to translate their posts. I don't really like either of the candidates this year, but at the end of the day, I will vote for I would rather see in the White House, which would be Bush, even though I think he is a dumbass. zumnwrx 07-19-2004, 03:28 PM im glad america grew some balls... I know. The decision totally sucks a$$. I very much dislike Bush, but Kerry is a sneaky dude. I wish Dean was still in the race. Then it would be different Magish 07-19-2004, 08:57 PM I've given up on the race for president. Bush: Dumbass, completely f***'ed up our country, got us in a unneccicary war, got us in major debt. Can't stand him or his texan accent. Kerry: Slightly smarter, but just as annoying. I hate his "I was so great in Vietnam" crap. At the end of the day though my vote goes to kerry, only because it will only be more fun to see a diffrent guy mess up our country just as much. But I dont really care, as the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION for anyone who opposes bush is the race for the Senate. KEN SALIZAR FOR COLORADO! Magish 07-19-2004, 08:58 PM I lean more toward the Democratic side of things when it comes to politics, but i will NEVER vote for Kerry. Wow mike, you've really changed perspective. I would really like to hear your reason for changing your oppinion so much. gdogg 07-20-2004, 03:32 AM gdogg, i just hope you arent the "only vote for Republicans cause I am a Christian" ploy your hopes are confirmed my friend. just because i am a Christian does not mean that i blindly support Republicans "just because". my jest about Kerry was.. if anything just a "jab". No matter who makes it in office my duty as an American citizen and a Christian... to lift all our leaders in prayer. i support Bush. i've always liked the Bush family. i like the fact that when he says something- he follows through(at least to the best of my knowledge). all the jokes of him being "stupid" are fine with me. . . i admire the tenacity of his composure throughout his presidency... tough as nails offending many- hopefully to better our country- i'm not a scholar of politics, but being born in '75 i remember the awesome reagan days.... and Bush to me is a refreshing but stirring type of a president- not perfect, but who would you have to do the job? just a thought aloha from the summit of Mauna Kea dub2w 07-20-2004, 08:22 AM gdogg... we are about the same age and I too remember those days. On the politics front, I have a different viewpoint but that is true for most everyone. When I became a believer a few years ago I remember reading about Christ for the first time and it was a apparent that here was a man who gave everything to the poor, the sick, the orphaned. When I read the Book of James it escapes me how Republicans can give and do so little for the downtrodden. btw, next time I roll out to Hawaii I am gonna stop by for a test drive :) gdogg 07-20-2004, 02:03 PM When I became a believer a few years ago... btw, next time I roll out to Hawaii I am gonna stop by for a test drive :) woot! aloha from the summit of Mauna Kea FUNKED1 07-20-2004, 02:51 PM Well I am glad to hear that some of the more lefterly denziens of this board are fellow gun whackos. FUNKED1 07-20-2004, 02:54 PM it escapes me how Republicans can give and do so little for the downtrodden. Well the current Republicans appear to be socialists based on government spending increases. Bush tax cuts did very little to change a tax system that is heavily biased against those with high incomes. The top 20% still pays more than the other 80% combined. And the classical Republican idea (which is pretty much only espoused by libertarians these days) was that there was nothing wrong with giving money to the poor, just that it should be voluntary rather than a result of state coercion and confiscation. My ex-girlfriend's church, chock-freakin-full of Republicans, gave so much to the Dominican Republic after hurricane Georges, so much that they had to charter a cargo jet and make multiple runs to the D.R. dub2w 07-20-2004, 03:15 PM ok, so my last post wasnt at 1000 ;) funked, that is awesome. My diatribes against politicians should be equally levied against Republicans and Dems alike... and the point you make is spot-on. Some of my closest friends are Republicans and they are amazingly gernerous people. looking at the history of the parties, it is clear that both major sides have deviated from their core roots FUNKED1 07-20-2004, 04:59 PM Yep I agree. Kevin M 07-20-2004, 05:03 PM Times change, so of course the politicians do too. The political landscape will be completely different in 50 years than it is now. |
