I'm a leftie i guess, and i grew up shooting all sortsa nutso guns, from Ar-15's to M1's to pythons to beebee guns to super soaker 400's, Yeah, the one with the backpack - beeeotch . I'm not afraid of guns, i'm afraid of the people behind them.

I know. The decision totally sucks a$$. I very much dislike Bush, but Kerry is a sneaky dude. I wish Dean was still in the race. Then it would be different

I've given up on the race for president.

Bush: Dumbass, completely f***'ed up our country, got us in a unneccicary war, got us in major debt. Can't stand him or his texan accent.

Kerry: Slightly smarter, but just as annoying. I hate his "I was so great in Vietnam" crap.

At the end of the day though my vote goes to kerry, only because it will only be more fun to see a diffrent guy mess up our country just as much. But I dont really care, as the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION for anyone who opposes bush is the race for the Senate.

your hopes are confirmed my friend. just because i am a Christian does not mean that i blindly support Republicans "just because". my jest about Kerry was.. if anything just a "jab". No matter who makes it in office my duty as an American citizen and a Christian... to lift all our leaders in prayer.
i support Bush. i've always liked the Bush family. i like the fact that when he says something- he follows through(at least to the best of my knowledge). all the jokes of him being "stupid" are fine with me. . . i admire the tenacity of his composure throughout his presidency... tough as nails offending many- hopefully to better our country-
i'm not a scholar of politics, but being born in '75 i remember the awesome reagan days.... and Bush to me is a refreshing but stirring type of a president- not perfect, but who would you have to do the job?

gdogg... we are about the same age and I too remember those days. On the politics front, I have a different viewpoint but that is true for most everyone. When I became a believer a few years ago I remember reading about Christ for the first time and it was a apparent that here was a man who gave everything to the poor, the sick, the orphaned. When I read the Book of James it escapes me how Republicans can give and do so little for the downtrodden.

btw, next time I roll out to Hawaii I am gonna stop by for a test drive :)

Well the current Republicans appear to be socialists based on government spending increases. Bush tax cuts did very little to change a tax system that is heavily biased against those with high incomes. The top 20% still pays more than the other 80% combined. And the classical Republican idea (which is pretty much only espoused by libertarians these days) was that there was nothing wrong with giving money to the poor, just that it should be voluntary rather than a result of state coercion and confiscation. My ex-girlfriend's church, chock-freakin-full of Republicans, gave so much to the Dominican Republic after hurricane Georges, so much that they had to charter a cargo jet and make multiple runs to the D.R.

ok, so my last post wasnt at 1000 ;) funked, that is awesome. My diatribes against politicians should be equally levied against Republicans and Dems alike...

and the point you make is spot-on. Some of my closest friends are Republicans and they are amazingly gernerous people.
