Because the spec c model is basically a stripped down club racing version of the impreza wrx sti. As they already expect the buyers to get new wheels and tires anyway, those steelies are put on just so they can move the car, they're not meant to be driven on the track with those "rims"

I would love to have those seats.
Of course I would love to have a replica Alpinestars driving jacket too, but I probably can't afford either.

All I want to do is import a JDM STI and then I will be happy. I want to drive on the right side and show everyone up. Because you know that those are faster anyways. Why do Americans get screwed when we will pay more for the car anyways. They should totally sell the JDM version over here. I know I would pay anything for it. It is so sweet with the looks and the gauges all on the other side. People would break there necks just to look at it. If there is anyone out there that lives in AZ and wants to go half in with me, we can import one!

The stripped down Spec C doesn't come with brembo's... FYI

The US is just too strict with safety, emissions, etc. It causes us to be limited to the good stuff. Then again, you can't blame the US for making all the strict changes because people in the US suck at driving so they gotta make it so everyone drives around basically in tanks.

But lets remember, we finally have WRX/STi's here and EVOs as well. Not too mention that our STi has a 2.5L in it and everyone elses don't :)
