Well folks it's that time of the month where we start planning for what excuse to get out of the house and get some fresh air into our systems (engines). So here's the plan

I-CLUB/MS SUMMER TAILGATING MEET!!!
Date: July 18th
Time: noon
Where: Red Rocks (there's several large, dirt lots with good views that are perfect)

We can park our rides, right next to our BBQ's. Listen to some great music. Throw the frisbee, and look at our beautiful cars, all at the same time. Maybe set up a few gazeebo's for shade. Who knows.

which day works better for people?

July 25th would be great. But I'll try my best to go to this one. I miss that last one

I'll be out of town on the 25th (taking the rex on it's first road trip!). Either the weekend before or after would be better for me, but if I have to miss this one it's not a huge deal. But dammit, I'm going to be a part of at least one meet this summer with a decent turnout!!!

We can do it on the 18th

25th I'm going to be out of town, and as long as i'm not working (dont know yet) I could make it the 18th. So, just put me down as a maybe.

I'm checking the schedule at red rocks to make sure we don't run into anything big. Both those sundays are free, but most every saturday, they have something going on. Sounds like the 18th may be the best one though...

Where are we meeting???

red rocks parking area #1. If you get off I-70 at the red rocks exit, you'll go down a windy road. You'll see a sign and a split in the road. Veer right. that road will wind around up a hill, and eventually split 3 ways (left, straight, and right). Hang left (you'll see the big ol' parking area right there) and that's where we'll meet. There's only a handful of lots around there, so if you miss a turn or something, it's not too hard to find your way back.

I might get lost. So I guess we should just meet up somewhere

I miss the last meet in june and for sure will not miss this one. This meet I promise I will go.

Elevation - I'll meet you at the Park n Ride on 225 & Parker if you want and we can drive up there.

Is anyone else meeting anywhere before they go up there???

Um, a few of us will be there (us 2 and KDamericano for sure), and I'm pretty sure a few are coming from clubWRX.

Are we stilling going to have a bbq there too. If so i'll get the brats bun and drink.

I'm down for a BBQ. We can just go by that King Soopers across the street from the PNR and grab stuff before we go.

Elevation - I got to the park n ride at about 11:35. I was a bit late. Sorry. I hung around there for a few minutes and didn't see you, so I headed out to Red Rocks. I got there a little after noon, drove around the whole damn park looking for Kevin. I didn't see him or any other subies, so I went home. So it sounds like I missed both of you. The timing just wasn't on our side yesterday.......
