Whats the best way to get them off without damaging the paint??

nobody knows a good way to get them off????

Pry them off with a screwdriver.

Install instructions for Clear Corners, I don't see why there would be a difference with installation.

Sorry guys I ment the CF ones----The clear corners just replace the orange side markers the CF one actully stick on the the car , so I dont think prying them off with as screwdriver is a great idea. I was thinking about using a heat gun to get em off...But thanks for the info

Jay02wrx I was sorta kidding about prying them off with a screwdriver. If you realy want to get them off try to work a piece of piano wire behind it and pull. I am sure it will work.

LOL dont do that. I dont understand, you want to take them off? Just use the same instructions as the guy did to remove and replace with the clear corners.

tloc you can't take them off that way because the STi markers are not held on the same way. The STi side markers actualy are held on by adheasive.

Ahhhh...my bad. I thought you meant you were trying to install new covers and were taking your stock ones off. The adhesive STI covers...what are they stuck to? I just ordered a set I'm expecting Monday. I thought they were direct replacements for stock.

They are direct replacement but instead of fitting into the hole they adhear to the recessed lip around it. Yoe cant tell and they are perfictlu flush with the car.

I have the c/f side markers and if you wanna take them off, just use a heat gun / blow dryer until they're nice and melty (hehe or whatever you think is good enough), and then you can just get your fingernail underneath a side to start it. Then the rest will come. If you don't mind me asking, why are you taking them off?

I dont know if I am taking them off yet, I bought clear corners the other day and was just thinking about switching. I really like the way the CF looks on the red, so I am alittle confused about what to do. I really dont know what I want to do...................

I'm sort of stuck myself, I ordered a set of CF covers that should be arriving in the mail today and now I'm undecided whether I want those or clear corners.

Do the CF covers completely disable the turn signal light? Ae they sorta "mesh" or are they thick, solid covers which block all the light?

you got no trun signials with the CF ones, but they look great....

seriously.. i love the way they compliment the black plastic on my silver car.

tloc if you decide on clear corners i would be happy to take the cf one off you hands.
