does any one know if the 2.5rs parts would fit on the 2.5 sti block with no problems.

Yes, the shortblocks themselves are identical. The insides is what makes one more special than the other.

i think the water pump is different between the two. also i have heard you have to plug one of the coolant passages or something. other than that im pretty sure they are interchangable.
