Does anyone have a picture of what the yakima rack looks like on a 2003 WRX silver metallic?

I dont have any pictures, but I have a 2003 blue wagon WRX. I got the Yakima lowrider towers and round cross bars, it looks great. Even better now since I added the fairing.

Did it make a howling noise until you bought the fairing? Mine does and I think I am going to buy a fairing to hopefully eliminate the sound. I also have an '02 WRX wagon with the same rack as you. Nice choice :-)

Yes, It did make a howling noise. It is quieter now with the fairing, but still there. Small price to pay for being able to bring my toys with me to the outdoors.

another thing you can do is this if you are using the powderhound or the lift ticket(skis rack) when i am not using it, i leave the bolt that hold it on slitly loose so that i can turn them down, lean them back to make it more aerodynamic, with 2 snowboards on it it is relatively quiet up to 90mph. also the measurements that yakima gives are slightly off you may have to adjust them to fit q clips 78 front and back.
