You can get parts made out of kevlar in nearlv any color you want, as for actual white carbonfiber I have never heard of such a thing.

Dude, I was thinking about doing the same thing. I know a guy locally who says he can get me carbon fiber custom made in white.

I was going to do some parts on the WRX. But...never got around to it.

If you do do that definatly post some pics that would look awsome.

You can get other composites with fibers that are other colors.. you can dye kevlar to be many colors, but I think CF is always black on account of carbon fibers being black. But the other options would have the same look (checkered weave). I've seen stuff with half CF half colored weave. like a checkerboard. That looked pretty neat.

I think you are right. I think the guy I spoke with slipped up when he meant to say Kevlar. I use to have a Kevlar hood on my old integra and it was yellow. It looked nasty and in the end I painted the hood white to match the car.

I've seen white carbon. I think RAVSPEC had it in NY..

There is no such thing as white carbon fiber. The only white fiber is fiberglass which is much cheaper. dont buy a fiberglass hood for cabonfiber price it is a ripoff.

Kevlar can be white too, and that is comprable to carbonfiber.

Kevlar is stronger than carbon fiber. Kevlar is bullet-proof. :D

As what M Roadster+WRX was saying Kevlar is yellow not white and doesnt look to appealing to the eyes.

It was probably Carbon-Kevlar which comes in colors. Pure Kevlar is yellow.

Sorry. Carbon fiber comes in any color you want, as long as it's black. Anybody selling 'white' carbon fiber is selling snake oil. Ya, there's a name for white carbon fiber, it's called fiberglass.

Kevlar can be dyed, but typically only comes in blue, red, yellow, and green. I haven't seen white Kevlar, but I'm sure it's possible.

I'm in the composites business and it irritates me when guys are trying to pull this junk.

Kevlar's natral color is a dull yellow. It can not be bleached or dyed white.
