Only three of us showed up (again). We didn't go on a drive this time. After we met, we grabbed a bite to eat and went home.

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO COME TO THESE MEETS TO MAKE THEM WORTHWHILE!!!

I got a few pics. I'll resize them tonight and post them tomorrow.

Call on a few of the ClubWRX people, and you will have more people automatically. I know some of you want it i-club only but if you are looking for people that is where to look.

KDamericano

it turned out to be an odd day anyways. A descent amount of clubwrx people that I talk to were all going to their track day, and said they would have liked to come, but were already busy with that. I'm working the 26th, but if anybody wants to do it the 27th I'm down.

wrx21
05-19-2004, 08:39 AM
OK this brings up another issue .. I want to do this on a day where us regular i-club members can all come to and KDamericano you are one of us. So, I didn't want to have to move the time around this time but It's far enough ahead of us to probally change it to the normal sunday afternoon. Does this work for everyone else. I don't think its that big a deal because its when we normally meet.

VRWRX
05-19-2004, 08:45 AM
Yup. Sunday afternoon sounds good.

I posted pics of the last meet in the May Meet/Drive thread.

I have couple of people might be interested in the meet too. But they dont drive subbys. I have to admit their car is to much for my STI. I'll try to get them to come too.

Elevation303

If everyone is down we should drive to red rock and have a BBQ there. Or any place where we can drive to and have lunch together that would be cool. And since we going to meet up at colorado mills we can buy the food there. We dont have alot of time so lets get some suggestion in. But I am 100% will not miss this meet.

wrx21
05-25-2004, 09:31 AM
So, does a BBQ sound good to everyone else?

KDamericano
05-25-2004, 10:48 AM
I'm jiggy with a BBQ

VRWRX

I'm down.

Elevation303
05-26-2004, 03:31 AM
hmm so what is a good place to have a drive and a grill we can use lol

wrx21
05-26-2004, 09:29 AM
Well they don't necessarly need to be in the same place .. there are grills all over the place. Should we just plan on BYOM "Bring your own Meat" and for those of you whos minds just went into the gutter, you should probally bring that meat too cause it's not to easy to leave behind.

regg01
05-26-2004, 11:51 AM
Once again,
I am 'down like a clown, Charlie Brown'...I shouldn't miss it, and will tell Dave and my other RS friend about it. There is a chance that I work that day but only until 3:00 in Denver. I can just go from work, though I'd be a little late but could meet up with folks after the BBQ or during the drive. If Dave shows up I can just call him to meet up with you all.

AS BILLY MADISON ONCE SAID:
69!!!! HA!HA!HA! (posts)

Elevation303
05-26-2004, 03:28 PM
I think we should meet up first around 1 p.m then see how many people going then just go to the grogery store near the mills and shop by then it will be 2.

wrx21
05-27-2004, 11:43 AM
I could be there at one .. now we just need a place to grill our meat, Suggestion's

Elevation303
05-27-2004, 03:27 PM
How about we just have a drive to a park somewhere in boulder?

KDamericano
05-27-2004, 11:59 PM
I've always been a big fan of wash park, but that's just me.

VRWRX
06-01-2004, 01:25 PM
I've always been a big fan of wash park, but that's just me.

But there's not really anywhere to drive around there. We need somewhere that has a nice road going to it.....

Elevation303
06-01-2004, 01:36 PM
We need to get this together june 27 will come around very quick. Lets start putting things together. hehe

KDamericano
06-01-2004, 10:19 PM
well perhaps we shouldn't bite off more than we can chew. We've got about 3 different ideas here. I'd say maybe go with just the quick meet-and-drive, or a nice bbq to sit back and look at all of our cars, or something simple like that. What do you guys think?

wrx21
06-02-2004, 11:59 AM
I think we should just meet at the scheduled time and place and then go from there, we will decide where we are going afterwards, Golden Gate State Park has grills "but its $5 per car and there is a stretch of dirt road", there is a park on top of lookout mountain "not sure if there are grills there though", or a park in Boulder and we can drive Baseline Road. Whatever we decide we should start signing up to bring BBQ items. I will bring Hamburger Patties and Buns. (We need people to bring Charcoal, Drinks, plates cups etc.., some kind of salad, and other assorted BBQ stuff.)

VRWRX
06-02-2004, 01:50 PM
I can bring chips, salads, and whatever else others can't.

You know, Wash park wouldn't be too bad. We could just chill and maybe bring a football to toss around or something.

Elevation303
06-03-2004, 04:17 AM
I'll bring the brats and bun. Hey VRWRX you want to meet up with me by the parker park n ride? We can go to the king sooper right there and buy the stuff before we head up to the mills? Is that okay with you?

VRWRX
06-03-2004, 08:11 AM
That's perfect for me. Maybe we can get Regg in on the action this time too.

wrx21
06-03-2004, 10:43 AM
Cool it looks like we have a pretty good BBQ going on now, if we are considering Washington Park, Does meeting at the Mills still work for you guys?

I'll try to get out there. Should be free on the afternoon of the 27th

VRWRX
06-03-2004, 12:27 PM
If we are going to be at Wash Park, there's no reason for us to drive all the way out to the Mills. But if we are going to a park out that way, then of course we can. We just need to decide.........

wrx21
06-03-2004, 12:45 PM
Well, lets just keep it on the roof, I think thats probally best because thats what everyone is already planing on.

Elevation303
06-03-2004, 01:13 PM

EtchyLives
06-04-2004, 06:46 AM

VRWRX
06-04-2004, 07:52 AM
OK, now I'm confused. Are we going to be at Wash Park, or are we meeting at the Mills and finding a park out that way?

Etchy - Bring anything you like.

Elevation303
06-04-2004, 01:23 PM
here is what we have so far

wrx21 - hamburger and buns
elevation303- brats and buns

VRWRX
06-04-2004, 01:54 PM

Ditto. I'll bring or buy whatever? I think we ought to hit Red Rocks for grills, parking, decent drive and get some killer pics. Afterward anyone wanting to cruise we could go drive Baseline Road. But whatever we do is fine. Food and cars is all we really need.

Hey, did everyone see the new post for the drift showoff at Pikes Peak? What does everyone think about getting together earlier and going down to see this? Just a thought, but I think that would be a good time. I've never been to a drifting event, and I think this is the first one in CO. What does everyone think about this???

Elevation303

Sorry I couldn't make it John. My Father-in-law went into the hospital on Saturday and we were there pretty much the whole weekend. I totally spaced the meet.
