1998 Impreza 2.5 RS in San Jose, CA. For Sale!!!

I am the original owner of this Subaru. Currently has 77K miles. The car is mostly stock. I have taken out the snorkus and taped up the air intake opening from the engine bay. Cold air is fed directly from the front fender. This can be easily changed back if you want. Also took out the yellow plastic reflector from the side marker lamps and replaced the bulb from white to yellow. I have changed the black Subaru fender badge to Pink. Additionally, I added a trunk light/latch mechanism so that I can see inside the trunk at night. Replaced the rubber boot for the shifter to leather. I have not let anyone smoke inside this car. Interior is in excellent condition. The exterior has some paint chips in front and a couple of door dings on the side. The car has been garaged both at night and during the daytime so the interior has not faded. This car is ready for you to drive home.

I already have another car and would like to buy a house so I have decided to let this one go.

This is a well maintained ALL WHEEL DRIVE Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. The tires were replaced at 60k miles and are still good. The Impreza is practical, comfortable, and has the economical 2.5 liter all aluminum DOHC horizontally opposed four cylinder engine which was the most powerful engine available for this model year. It is rated at 165 bhp(@5600 rpm) and 162 pound feet of torque (@4000 rpm). The manual transmission car has a torque split that is 50/50 front and rear. A center differential with a viscous coupling adjusts that split if wheel slippage is detected.
