Well Lookout Mtn Rd is a tight road but, Baseline Rd in Boulder is about 4 times longer twice as high and in some places its almost straight up hill. Have any of you ever been there. it is pretty cool. The only thing is its pretty far from some of you.

I also know of a good road in Idaho Springs its sort of like Lookout but its on dirt.

There's a ClubWRX drive coming up in May. It's posted in the event calendar....just FYI.

There's a pretty awesome road between golden and boulder called Golden Gate Canyon Rd (highway 72 I think) that's freaking spectacular.

Guentella (sp?) pass between como on US285 and Georgetown would be awesome if it open. It is a mix of Gravel and pavement.

I vote for Sunday, May 16th. As for the location:

1.) Lookout Mountain Rd. - been there, done that, although it is FUN!
2.) Baseline Rd. - a bit too far
3.) Golden Gate Canyon - my vote
4.) Guentella Pass - I try to avoid dirt as much as possible (especially if we have a couple cars flinging it in front of us). I know, I'm a discrace to the Suby community...

yeah, I'd be down with any of those. There's a 50/50 chance I'll make it. Tough call, cause i like the winding canyons, but I'd also like to hit a little dirt. what does everybody else think?

Well I added VR's vote and my vote didn't help out at all. I chose baseline road because its 10 times as good as Lookout plus its longer. But I would be down for anything.

I'd like to come out and meet some folks. Saturday works for me, Sunday does not. Any of those places look cool, but I like the dirt. Guentella even though it's kind of a drive.

I vote for Sunday afternoon. I have to come up to Fort Collins to move out of the house up here and back to Aurora on Saturday.

Yeah, Sunday afternoon is definitely better for me. I just remembered I have friends coming into town from the Springs who will be here on Sat.

Looks like we have a pretty good list going, where is Takami.Wrx?

Well we have less than a week to go so I am going to have to say we meet up at 2:00 PM at in the Super Target Parking Lot at the Colorado Mills Mall. Across Colfax from last months meet. I will try to be there a few minutes early and park in the open towards the back of the lot. As far as where we are going to drive Golden Gate Canyon and Baseline Road are both up Hwy 93 towards Boulder and everyone should know where Lookout Mountain is Right. I don't know where Guentella is but I figure that the Mills Mall is a pretty central place to meet.

So lets start to confirm that we will be there.

Sunday afternoon is the only time that *might* work for me this weekend. I'm not positive that I'll even be able to make it then, so don't base anything around me. If I make it great, but if not that's alright too. I'm the only one that has been to BOTH of our first meets, so I don't feel too bad. I'll try to make it though.

Alright, I'm just going to make an executive decision. The last couple people have said that Sunday would work better, so Sunday it is. I hope that's OK with everyone. Sorry if it's not, but there's no way that we can make everyone happy, and this needed to be decided. So,

WHERE: Super Target parking lot by the Colorado Mills Mall (roughly I-70 & Colfax)
WHAT: A drive to wherever we decide.

NOTES:
1. PM wrx21 to get his cell phone # if you think you are going to be much later than 2:15 and let him know to wait.
2. regg01, Elevation303 & VRWRX (hopefully) are meeting on the top level of the park n ride at I-225 & Parker Rd. at 1:00pm first and then driving over there together.

If anyone has any problems with this info, or if I got something wrong, please let me know.

Damn, I really wish I hadn't spaced it-went to my friend's bachelor party the night before. I see Dave from Speedy Roopair went though (pretty sure that's his STi).
I was supposed to call him that morning to meet up w/ VRWRX. Oops, sorry guys. Hopefully I can make it in June and we can go on a drive, depends on what my work schedule is then.

Yeah, I told Dave about the meet when I stopped by the shop last week, glad he at least made it. My other RS friend and I both went to that party (same group of friends) and stayed quite late-not sure if my other friend even went home. Wish I could have represented the GC8 RS's. Don't know why/how I spaced it. Nice pics, man.

That's wrx21's black one. He had just cleared the lights out. Last meet they weren't like that. They look really good besides the condensation that's in them. He'll have to take them out and do everything over again to wipe out the water and re-seal them better...

Yep that's my baby .. If you do clear out your lights, I would buy some of that 3M windshield glue first .. cause there wasn't enough to completely seal it back up.
