Hey guys! Thinking about getting a US-Spec STi and I wanted to see what you all are doing on your WRX's.

1. Battery Size: I have a Odyssey PC1200 in my S4 running a PG 475ti & 600ti w/1-farad cap. What size is the OEM battery in your cars & would mine fit?
Odyssey specs: PC 1200
1200 cranking amps
91 minute reserve capacity with 25amp load
Dimensions: inches (mm)
width 6.66 (169.1)
length (terminal side) 7.87 (199.9)
height* 6.80 (172.7)
Weight 38.2 lbs / 17.4 kg

2. Speakers: I've been seeing that the front doors are 6.5" & rear doors are 5.25". Anything in the rear deck? Are these the correct measurements?

3. What have you been doing for faceplates? Single-din,double-din? I'm curious to see (I looked but hardly anyone has HU pics).

4. Alternator rating? (estimated)
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I have a Kenwood head unit and putting in new stocks
(6 1/2 in the front and 4 in the rear 5 1/4 can fit...Hard to fit high quality speakers but gone a do it...

Put the Head Unit in the optional gauge mount on dash and have a screen in the stock stereo location..

Altenator, don't know, but getting an optima for the reason..

Hope I can Help..

Do some suspension and engine mods first, thats what I did...

Way more worth it..

PS..Why get a STI? tha S4 not dope enough? I'll trade?.. Serious..

Thanks!
The S4 is a wonderful car! I absolutely love it, to be honest, & I've spent a lot of time & money on it. However, even though I haven't had any major problems w/my ride, I tend to think about making a reliable & accurate 400 crank hp. Some of our tuner kits claim this, but they're not being reflected in corresponding wheel hp #'s on the dyno (dyno dynamics @ Vishnu).

Is it worth it to spend more money on mods that may not bring the car close to quoted levels, or should a fresh start be made to an STi (albeit 4-banger) that can probably easily attain 400hp & be easier & cheaper to maintain? My car handles great, makes power w/only minor problems (& shows it in road perfomance) & has madd bling status, but I want reliable, repeatable power...which I believe the STi can offer & Vishnu has shown in many upgraded WRX's.
