I own a 03 2.5RS and I recently learned to drive a manual pretty well working at a car dealership as a detailer. Now to the question, would it be better if I sold my car and bought a new WRX which i hate *the looks*....Or convert the new engine and transmission or just change the transmission, I saw LIC do the old 2.5RS. And I am not made totally outta money and I hope this won't cost more then what the car is actually worth. What would you do?

It would be significantly less expensive to just trade your car for a used WRX.

For the amount of labor+parts+time it'll be much more cost effective to just buy a used wrx.... now if u owned a gc8 then that'd be a different story.

if u mean 03 wrx vs gc8 rs: suspension, tranny, engine and ALL, then yes....

if comparing 03 wrx vs gc8 (only with wrx 'engine' swap)... the gc8-wrx swap would be cheaper by a few hundred bucks... unless u bought like a 2001 rs... like me.

and YEAH DAMN COOLER....
