Mazda also announced pricing for the new rotary-powered, four-seat RX-8 performance car. Base price for the RX-8 will be $25,180 with an automatic transmission and $26,680 with a 6-speed manual. A fully loaded RX-8 will be under $32,000.

Seriously.. what were they thinking with that thing. The last RX 7 on the market was bad ass looking and performance wise. What the hell is that thing supposed to be??

and then the doors like the Saturns had a long time ago. Too bad. They screwed the pooch on this one. Saw a couple early on and figured they "might" be ok, but looking at it again, heck no. Fugly...

While I haven't seen one up close, personaly I think the car looks bad ass! That pic doesn't do it justice! I just wish it was available in AWD! (Course I also wish the Hyundai Tiburon was avail in AWD as well!)
Just due to pricing, I will have to at least test one out when the time comes, love those rotary's! But doubt I will buy one since I want something with awd or 4wd (being in an area that tends to get snow, and not being able to just call work and say "the roads are too slick, Im not coming in today"......hehehe)
