well, how old are you and what is your driving record like?

Me: 22 - '03 WRX

No points on record.

$1000/6 mo.

Full coverage 100/300 with $1k deducts (not a big deal if you keep $1k in the bank at all times, which I do).

well, the best way to tell is to get a quote. I use my 21st century and they are really good.

It'll probably be pretty high.

uh, what kind of coverages did you have selected? If you lease or finance the vehicle, full coverage will likely be required by your lender. in addition, they may have other stipulations about coverage limits and deductibles.

I would recommend getting full coverage and you'll probably have to if you finance. Besides, if you are paying say $400/mo for 5 years on a car, and you wreck it in year 1 with no full coverage.

You == screwed - you still have a $400 payment per month but no car. But like I said, you'll probably be required to get full coverage so either way it won't matter.

whoa, that's a pretty good rate. especially for an 18 yr old. family discount?

i am pretty sure wrx insurance is higher than the rsx. wrx's msrp is actually higher than rsx type-s and it has more horsepower.

$578 full coverage ($500 deductables) for 6 mo from Progressive.

Progressive quoted me the same rates for both the wagon and sedan. What was kind of strange was that the 04 was cheaper to insure than the 03, and the 03 was cheaper than the 02.

Horsepower is only one of many factors....

My WRX wagon is MUCH cheaper to insure than my old Integra GSR ever was.

also, keep in mind that when you have a loan you usually need to have more stringent coverage ($500 premium, etc...)
