Okay guys, let the numbers do the talking - not 1/4mi slips, but daily street... (note: PBA cards=speeding tickets)
Current cars & record:
43,000 miles on my 02 WRX Wagon
83,000 miles on my Merc ML430
13 years driving in NYC/Queens/NJ (I've served my time)
No speeding tickets
No accidents on current cars
NEVER-EVER even pulled over.
*Also* fully enjoying my WRX enough to wear out 2 sets of tires on the street.
Am I too fast for the cops? :p
(Hope this doesn't kill my luck.) :D

I am a mediocre WRX driver, I can do my share of fair driving. The one I really still admire as the God of WRX driving is Shiv from Vishnu. He can jam on any WRX there is out there and make it run like a ferrari. Mucho respect for Shiv.

24K miles in my wrx. No accidents or speeding tickets (knock on wood). No tickets of any kind in the last 3 years. I actually drive like a sissy most of the time. The fuzz here have instilled a little bit of fear into me. No desire to speed(which is bad to begin with) because the news displays pictures nowadays of speeders (in excess of the speed limit). They're cracking down in Hawaii due to recent events...

Nah - It's "soober" pronounced "Suber" and like "Soobie"
"Soobie -Soobie -Doo!"
Well, the big issue is what defines a "Good driver". This came up since my boss (i work in NJ, where all of us have to drive to work) took a poll to prove a point and asked everybody if they're an "Above Average driver".
Needless to say, everyone said they were.
I figured - let numbers and history do the talking....that and it was late and i was tired, so I rambled.....
My trick is to drive at the limits of the law (or a little beyond that) as long as it's safe for you and others and the conditions are right. Plus always be aware of all the traffic laws everywhere you drive.
I fully enjoy the WRX's acceleration and cornering, but I'm always watching my top speed (speed readings are hard to argue against) and, yes, mindful of cops.
ish

of course everyone is gonna say they are a good driver. and length driving and # of tickets/accidents doesn't rell you how good of a driver you are. my dad hasn't ever had a ticket and no accidenent in a long long time, but he sucks at driving. only way is to get out on the track and compare yourself to others

Sure! I planned on racing this year, however my 2-year old has taken a LOT more of my time than I had thought...but that is a part of life that you can't make up! :)
I plan on racing next year - don't think I'll do too bad. However, I didn't say good RACE driver, I meant everyday/overall driver.
I didn't burn through 2 sets of tires trying to parallel park! (Funny how those swirly marks on the sidewalls can get almost up to the rim if you drive sideways too much - both the 16" & 17".) ;)

Just to show the other side of me and how I might actually have gotten a ticket today...
On left lane of 3 lane, middle lane clear for a while - a Camaro SS buzzes by - I feel a bit playful and decide to jump in behind him (just a bit of fun). I see a Landrover in my blind spot, so I speed up to get in behind the SS. The SS hits the brakes for pot holes as I come up behind him, I slow down and check my rear-view for that Landrover...
I see a gold-type badge in the front windshield of the Landrover!
I quickly feinted an exit to the right so that the "pseudo-officer" behind me doesn't think I "pseudo-cut him off" for fun. We'll see...
