I own a 2004 STi, when I put my turn signal on and am nearing the end of my turn ocasionally both left and right signals will light up when I glance down. Is this normal?

obviously thats not normal, take it to the dealer, its brand new they should fix it no problem

But its only occasional and Im not sure if the blinker light actually flashes it might just be the indicator.

Does it really matter whether the outside blinker light actually goes on or not? It's obviously not working as designed.

this happens on my 04sti also? never really gave it a second thought.

I know it doesnt happen every time, so I dont know that if I brought it back to the dealer they would see or be able to fix the problem. Its not a big deal to me.

i notice that many of the new cars i work on there is a sharp right turn when exiting and moving the wheel back to center that they both blink for a sec, but i only notice this when im turning the wheel fast
