As ANOTHER measure to increase views, traffic, and such here I have decided to start a Events thread, where we can get some gettogethers going. This, along with the Spotted thread and the Rally-x schedule, and anything else we need up (important threads) will be Stickied once I become the mod of this section (which alex says will be in the next week.

Hopefully I can corrdinate these events with the ClubWRX and NASIOC ones too. ANyways, if you want a meet, and are willing to host it or just want to judge the intrest in a drive post it up here and the intrest can be judged.

Just a little FYI - I myself will be able to corrdinate a little bit, but I will not be able to attend many, if any untill at least September because of a VERY buisy next few months (europe storming the Autobahn and such for a month plus a lot of acutally important things :p) So, basically if you want some help with some online corrdinating I can do it but helping at the meets can't be my part untill this fall.

One vote for interested. I may not be able to help much in coordinating an event, but I would love to be a part of it!

Does Anyone ever go to the hamburger stand on 2nd and Union on Sunday nights. There is always an import car show there. I know the guy that puts it on and hes really cool.

Maybe we should plan on seting up a day for all of our subarus to take this show over and show the Honda guys, and the mustangs who think they are imports up.

Let me know if youre interested, or to set up a specific day.

I've been there because its right down the street from me (I live at Jewel and Kipling) but not recently with my own car. It is pretty fun though becasue once and a while there are some kick ass cars there. PM me if your going any time soon and I might be able to meet you there.

VRWRX - Yeah, its the Simms/Union exit off of 6th Ave, the first exit after Kipling. - do you know of any other good car shows out east? I know that Sonics have them too, but theres usually just muscle cars there.

Well it looks like we have 3 cars so far maybe we should set it up for March 7th. That ways we can try to get a couple of other cars in the mean time.

I know a few who I could maybe contact and get there. I havnt been there in a while, so remind me the times when it starts and such. I know a lot of people go and Street race (so stupid :rolleyes: ) afterward.

I don't know Exactly when it starts but i've always shown up around 9:00 and its usually pretty crowded by then, maybe we should plan on meeting a little earlier so we can all get parking spots in the same area.

March 7 I'll still be in school, so it won't work. March 14th would work perfect for me. Realized that's the only Sunday I can do it, since March 21st I have to come back to Ft. Collins for school.

I'd be down to meet some fellow Subaru owners. I just quit one job today, so and I'll be down to only one job again, but I don't know when the schedual is for that one right now.

Any Sunday is good for me. Just let me know the exact date/time/meeting place and I can probably make it. I have a buddy who just bought an '04 Rex and he would probably be down to see some others fixed up. Let me know.

The auto show would be a good idea too. I'd be down for that...

Well, I went down to the hamburger stand last night to see if it was still going on .. and it's huge now, they moved it into the parking lot right next to the HS. I'm just wondering if anyone is still down to meet up there one sunday? Let me know, Just pick a day and I will be there.

So did anything go down this weekend? I never heard an official word so I didn't do anything. I'm going to try to go to the Hamburger Stand this Sunday (3/14). Hopefully others will be there...

Does everybody know where Washington Park is? It's not too far from downtown, but there's a few places right by there with nice big ol' parking lots. That might work out well. Where should we go? Movie? Food? Strip club?

Well .. If everyone agrees on one place this should be easy, lets just start suggesting some places to go. My vote is just sticking to the origional plan and meeting somewhere then heading over to the car show.

KDamericano - How about some directions from the highway to one of the big parking lots so everyone knows exactly where to meet.

My thought is, there's a high school right across the street from wash park with a bigass parking lot. If you're coming off i-25, you get off on university. Go north for about a block or so, and take a left on Iowa (there's a police station right there, and a left turn lane). Then go straight for a block and take a right on York. You can also take a right on the next 2 streets (Gaylord and Vine) it really doesn't matter. You'll go north until you hit Louisiana (3 blocks) and take a left. About 5 blocks down, you'll see the school on the left (can't miss it) and wash park on the right. Just turn into the school parking lot. The address of the school is 1700 E. Louisiana Ave, Denver 80210 if you just want to punch that into mapquest.

Im down to meet at that school, but if we are just going to head over to the hamburger stand maybe we should just meet up there, its pretty easy to find. The easiest way to get there from anywhere is 6th. Ave East or West to the Simms/Union Exit, turn south and go 4 blocks to 2nd. Ave, the hamburger stand is right on that corner but you need to go behind it to the Sheridan Hotel Parking Lot. You cant miss it, you can see everyone from union theres usually around 60-70 cars there.

If you guys want to meet up at Washington thats cool too. Let me know. I guess all thats left to figure out is what time are we meeting up?

I think we should all meet up (at the school school) and then cruise over there together. That way we all get a spot next to eachother. That and we can have a bit of a meet and greet before we get there.

Well the parking lot over there is huge and ive never seen it full .. people usually start to show up around 7:00 - 7:30 and they start to leave usually around 9:00. I guess if we met at the school around 6:00 we could probally make it to the show by 7:00. Let me know what you guys think.

It looks like it's going to be in the 50's all weekend, and there isn't any precipitation in the forcast, so hopefully I can keep my car clean. Let's see what the weather looks like closer to then, but I'm still planning on being there.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't make it ... I went snowboarding and dislocated my shoulder. I really wanted to go but I cant drive a stick with my hurt arm .. Hopefully It feels better in the morning so I don't have to drive my moms Cavalier to work tomorrow.

So there was only two of us there last night. I brought my camera, but there was only us two so I didn't think to take any pics. Next time when we have more people I'll get some. We need to plan another one that more people can come to...
