Just curious what everyone payed for their JDM or EDM headlights. I am in the market and looking for a price to shoot for, please limit this to new headlights only.

from what i've seen, they're around $500-$600 for the '04. or bake your own for free.

baking them (then painting) will not turn them into JDM/EDM... LOL

yeah i agree with that, personally i would rather have the real thing than baking my lights. just my .02

talking about the MY02 MY03 wrx, not 04. Is it relatively the same price?

i got mine for about $550..02-03. jdm lights, but mine was somewhat used, but they are practically brand new since "badfish" didnt use them when he did his headlight conversion...just post a want ad and i am sure you can find someone selling them ...:banana:

Also isnt there a post in these forums that explains all the different JDM/Aftermarket possibilities for headlights on the rex. I found it at one point but now I cant. It had pictures and prices for each.

I bought them off stevied here on i-club, not sure if he's still actively selling stuff here still. He usually lets me know when hes got new stuff

they are pretty rare. you should shoot stevied a pm and see if he can get you a pair. if he can't, I have no idea where to get them :p

Yeah, but you save a buttload of money that you could spend on a new turbo or something else on your list.

wow.. if you can live with RHD you can get black chrome JDM HID's for less than that.

new edm's will run you ~$1k. used ones for a little less, depending on condition.

if you get projectors, don't get jdm's. i'm running edm's and am thankful that the cutoff is higher on the right side as opposed to the left.

I was wondering since this is a headlight thread. . . .
If I buy STi JDM HID headlights. . . . Can i adjust them/ have them adjusted so that they point the right way ?

I got a very good deal on mine. 660 for bug eye EDM LHD STI lights in a GB a while ago. I got lucky. :)

Got 2 sets for ~700 each from Gruppe-S. But you can find em cheaper, saw some on ebay go for around 450-500 used.

i paid about 1100 for new EDM's. it was part of a accident claim so it was all good.

How much do RHD Headlights go for? ive seen them around 500-600, but that was a while back.

The non-hid's go used for ~ $500 (new ~ $650)

The HID's go for ~ $950
