Do the tailights from an 02/03 fit on to a 2004 RS? I assume they do since the trunk is the same but I want to confirm.

i think they do i was looking at getting some 04 taillights for my 03 and i almost got a pair but the guy never sead anything about them not fitting other then the small 1/2 moon that cuts into the bumper. so if you looking to swap out your lights drop me a PM

the shape of the 02/03 lights are different than the shape of the 04's, you got it right that it has to do w/ the half circle that extends down. I'm sure they would fit well with some custom body work but are not a direct swap.

and i have to ask, what is wrong with the regular 02/03 tails?

nothing i just like to be diff, y were you looking at getting the old stlye lights ?

yea... i like the 02/03 tail lights more than the 04 one...

yes they do look nice , i just like the way there clear and not smoked there a little brighter thats y i was looking for a set or trade a set so i can put them on my 03. so if you are anyone wants to trade there of my 03 brand new

yeah, you would have to modify your body work a lil bit to get them to fit. i like how they are a lil clearer than the 02/03 lights, but the shape of the 02/03 are a little better.

just so you know ryan, it's definitely not a direct fit. i've already done the 2004 tail lights on my 2003 wrx. my friend at the body shop had to order me an 04 bumper and brackets and they had to do some mediocre body work. not minor stuff.

04s are better looking IMO...just the tail lights...the rest of the body SUCKS!
