View Full Version : V-limited STi front spoiler on my STi! Vader2k 02-16-2004, 02:35 PM Finally, got my V-limited STi front lip for my STi. It looks really sweet and fits perfect. ps - edited photo without plates. :) jester 02-16-2004, 04:15 PM what is the piece you added, the little black strip? Choku Dori 02-16-2004, 05:20 PM ^^^ Indeed. Looks good IMHO. Nice STi :D go go go 02-17-2004, 12:25 PM looks exactly like v-limited, especially with the JDM lights. nice! whitelegacy98 02-17-2004, 12:30 PM hawt, you should paint it tho JeremyW 02-18-2004, 10:03 AM Vader, How much was that thing and where'd you get it from? JW slvrsti 02-18-2004, 11:10 AM yeah !wish would have let me know maybe we could have got a couple of them.give up the info bro:D WuWrx 02-19-2004, 02:46 AM very nice Black Shadow 02-19-2004, 12:19 PM look pretty nice... BlueSti389 02-19-2004, 08:41 PM Where did you get that from? How much was it? Also does anyone know who sells the V-limited sti shift knob? Jim Salty 02-19-2004, 08:45 PM Very well done. digging the foglights too:) SlickmisterN 02-19-2004, 09:03 PM isnt that little peice of plastic like $400? It looks really sick though. Did you order it off japanparts.com and if so how long did it take to recieve it? Vader2k 02-20-2004, 12:15 AM Thanks guys for the kind words. I want to make my car show-ready (JDM style) yet fast. Almost there :) But all together, the front lip cost me like $500 or so including shipping... It came straight from Japan and now to my car. It was only meant to be for the V-limited edition STis & WRXs in Japan but now, I got one . :) Also, if anyone is interested in one, give Myles a call. Great guy to work with. Also, he should have some in stock here in the states: Myles RaceCompEngineering 410-707-0108 Also does anyone know who sells the V-limited sti shift knob? Yo BLUESTI389!!! I am on the same mission as you! I want that V-limited Aluminum Shift Knob for my STi. If you get a chance, call Myles cuz he might have an update on that shift knob. Good luck. Ps - The V-limited S.knob is different from the STi Titanium Shift Knob... Just a lil FYI. hashiriya 02-20-2004, 05:49 AM That car is so clean it's retarded... lip DOES look great with the lights, and check out the wheel fitment in the front! Are those Raybrig fogs? whitelegacy98 02-20-2004, 10:53 AM are you gonna paint the lip? and can we get more pics pls Vader2k 02-20-2004, 01:14 PM are you gonna paint the lip?... no, its not worth it. I have had front lips before on my past cars and the paint gets chipped real easy, plus you got to deal with scrappings etc.... Either way, I want to stay JDM as much as possible. V-limited STis in Japan roll with the front lip unpainted so Ill leave at that. :) Ps - The foglights are made by F.E.T. CATZ. jester 02-20-2004, 04:09 PM all u added was the black piece? Vader2k 02-20-2004, 05:28 PM all u added was the black piece?.... Ok Jester, where have you been??? Go to i-club.com's home page, then scroll down... It will then very clearly explain whats V-limited and whats included on the STI and so on... DLUX WRX 02-20-2004, 06:33 PM THAT LOOKS SICK! Im diggin the black lip on there. DONT PAINT IT! Just put some gunmetal tarmac 2's on yesterday and the windows are already tinted. I'm going for the bruiser look. SlickmisterN 03-26-2004, 12:32 AM But its 500 for a peice of plastic. Id rather go faster and have more fun than look at a strip of plastic. Dont get me wrong its nice, I just dont see how anyone can justify that thing. that1guy 03-26-2004, 02:10 PM That lip does look real good, but I kind of agree with SlickmisterN GottaREX 03-27-2004, 06:31 AM Originally posted by GottaREX Here's my buddy's STI with the V1 lip http://www.funtigo.com/img/i2777861_91577.jpg We're hoping to make a cast out of his V1 lip. No blue examples, but the other colors dont look good ( my opinion )painted. There is something very functional about it being black, and this could also account for why STi decided not to have a painted version. If you e-mail me I will shoot you some pictures back of painted lips on STI's so you can decide. For some reason, it looks incredible on white, and silver,..black is a no brainer, and blue, depends on your wheels, etc....again, just my .02 cents worth. 944 turbo guy Myles Williams Racecomp Engineering LLC www.racecompengineering.com 2720 Sisson st . It also matches the black parts of the front bumper. I think it will just be a waste of time and money to paint it since it will eventually get chipped and scratched. Silver Mojo 04-04-2004, 03:14 AM looks very nice. Ditchhanger 05-13-2004, 01:00 AM Debating whether to get the V- Limited or the Spec-C...:( 944 turbo guy 05-13-2004, 01:09 AM Last winter I was playing around in the parking lot of my old job, an as I exited in the snow,....on the 070s' no less,..........I gave it too much gas, and didnt loss the tail just power slid so freakin far that once it was straight again, I was 7 feet on top of a huge snow bank, alot of people came out of the dealership and were like,..." how and the hell did you get that up there,..?"...as they looked UP to me,....... ..............well the spec-c spoiler was still intact and hadnt moved at all, it was amazing, as the undercarriage piece was broken, and snow was packed everywhere, ans the snow was hard packed on the bank,.............so my point is I know the v-limited would have just broke or left a crease at best.........the spec-c spoiler is very strong to say the least, as its designed by Subaru, and is more OEm than the V limited, version, which is more race like in its appeal and style. We dug the snow out, and I backed the car down, slowly , until it slid the remainder.... 944 turbo guy Myles Williams Racecomp Engineering LLC www.racecompengineering.com 2720 Sisson st .
