Hey, any milwaukee area I-Clubbers out there??

I'm a Wisconsin wannabe stuck in Hellinois.

We are having a meet on Tuesday the 21st at the Hooters in downtown Milwaukee. It's the one in Grand Avenue mall. We usually meet in the GA Parking garage off of Plankinton around 7:30pm on the 3rd or 4th floor depending on other cars in there.

Right now there are probably 5-6 of us that'll be there but the more the merrier.

I am not near Milwaukee or Madison but I am up near Appleton, Clintonville to be specific. 50min from GB, and 35min to Appleton

Ah, then you're just a stone's throw away from the next CWSCC rallycross in Bancroft near Stevens Point, tentatively planned for March 2nd. Come see what your Scooby can do in the dirt!

Add one more to Madison, a silver wagon. What do you consider mildly modified? My wagon is kind of mild and delivers 280hp to wheels, oh what a blast!

this isn't on a stock 5speed is it...

She runs an APS SR30 turbo with a Unichip and a few other goodies. MRT oversized cooler, water spray, STI injectors, bigger fuel pump, MRT turbo back SS exhaust, MRT cool intake, Perrin up pipe, STI engine/tranny mounts along with brake mods and a guage pod to keep an eye on things and turbo timer to cool her off. An yea, all this on a stock 5 speed! Just now finding out the stock clutch can't handle the power when the temp gets down around zero.

Have to see it some time...
my car seems weak with a gutted uppipe, dual stage boost control, Stromung catless DP, 3rd cat eliminator, Borla cat back, full synthetic lube job...etc.
There is plans for a Utec & various handling parts but need a larger house first $$$$$$...
I'm sticking with the factory turbo at modest levels untill it dies...

LOL... My car IS weak in comparison. I'm all stock. Except for some new speakers I just put in, soon to be followed by a new Alpine MP3 CD deck... :p

I live in New Berlin and work on the north side of Milwaukee. I just bought a 2001 RS and love it. It sure beats my 1997 Cavalier. The Impreza is still stock, but I am looking to upgrade it a little. I don't want to stick to much money into it because I am working on a 1952 F-1 Pickup. I'll keep my eyes open for the local Imprezas though.

I live in Lake Geneva. WRB sedan.

We are having a meet tommorrow at the Hooter's in downtown Milwaukee. We meet on the 4th floor of the Grand Avenue parking garage off Plankinton, at around 7:00. Directions are basically take 94 to 794, get off on the Plankinton exit, which is the first exit, take the curve to left, go through one stoplight and the parking garage is on the left. We're usually inside Hooter's till about 9:30-10.

im from the north shore of milwaukee. I have my 03 black wrx with 3,000 miles. I am a student without a job, so the car is stock, but this summer i am hoping to make some money. My first mods are a UTEC, and a turboback exhaust, then a bodykit. A little show, and go. We milwaukee area guys should get together

Ooo another WI thread. I'm a bit south of Milwaukee also - Racine to be specific. Although I doubt people care about my old skool Wagon =p

Yet another silver wagon '03 in the Madison area - Sun Prairie to be exact. Bone stock, for now.

I've got to check in here too, although a little late! Madtown resident myself. 01' Black Impreza RS.

All I have right now is: Short-ram intake, altezza taillights, STi indiglo gauges, tinted windows, and tanabe super racing medallion cat-back exhaust. More mods to come in the near future.

Im from Menomonee Falls but in the AirForce Stationed in California right now.

Well I am no longer stock - I just installed a borla catback and an sti air filter on my silver 03 wrx wagon. I also installed mesh fog light covers painted silver - including the mesh. It really gives the car a different look.

2002 BRP RS

Waukesha representing here, just picked up my new `04 WRX last night. Much more fun than my B16 Civic was.

Just another Madisonian checking in. '98 RS in blue/gold - only slightly upgraded braking for our Sunday drive (the hard way) from Pine Bluff to Dodgeville. Destroyed the old ones in 20k mi. and boiled them once. Not a nice suprise!! Haven't seen anyone else out there in the hills. Right now, I've only seen a red Ducati, red Vette convertible, red EVO, and a black 3000vr4 on a regular basis.

Future WRX owner here in Madison. Right now its a 94 Civic EX, black with tinted windows and the typcal i/h/e. Student at MATC. 18 months til my WRX! BTW, anyone interested in Initial D? I have all the episodes on DVD (subtitled) and would be able to record them on VHS if you supply the tapes!

I'm buying a 1999 Impreza L this week and moving to WI next week (Menomonee Falls or Milwaukee, Sept 07). I would like to put together a new exhaust and a CAI at my buddy's shop before I head that way, but what's legal in that area? I just checked the WisDOT website and it says I have to have emissions testing done to live in that area (in VA where I'm from you can do about anything except tint your windows too dark and get away with it). Will probably get headers later, so I plan to do 2.5" exhaust for now. Thanks for any help!

On saturday the 30th in New Berlin i saw a late model blue WRX with a CF hood and STI badge on the front. I saw it twice, once at the car wash on National and another time on Sunnyslope. Anyone here own that sweet ride?

As far as emissons go I don't think the exhaust will effect that. As long as the O2 sensors are still hooked up you sould be fine. The cops in the area don't really care about the noise either. I've heard a lot of really loud ricers and they never get pulled over.
