WHAT KINDA CARS COME: Lately there have been as many as 50 cars at the meets. We get a couple of ricers every now and then, but for the most part, all the cars are pretty hard:

sometimes 03-04 Cobras
various turbo/supercharged Hondas/Acuras
a few SRT-4s
a few EVOs

I'm in for CKK and figured we'd be doing it when the weather got nicer. AntiochCali, Raazin and I were also doing short rides down local roads.

Roads were dark and narrow but the drives were quite fun!:banana:

I suggest somewhere in Pleasanton. I know the owner of a resturaunt that would be more than happy to seat us. For underages but older guys can have their drinks. Can be accessed to by 580 and 680. There are a few nice drives out there too.

Pleasanton meets were tried and IIRC 2 people showed up.

Atleast in concord we had a couple of big turn outs.

I agree with Dahveed, the walnut creek idea sounds good, its just hard to find parking in that area...we can always use the covered parking area @ broadway plaza, great place to take pictures as well

Okay, I'll make the suggestion again. Why don't we try a Concord KK meet again. When does everybody want to do it? The only day I can do it next week is Monday and the week of March 15th only Monday or Tuesday.

years ago when i attended thursday night clubsi meets, they were held at the dublin regal area. for a while meets were cool. parking isn't a problem. it's the damn rent-a-cop that's the problem. they will kick us out :(

Just got home, great turn out guys. It was a very deverse show with about 10 WRXs with 3 Neons a mustang and a Chevy SSR and a partrige in a pear tree. It was a lot of fun, who knows maybe this concept will grow. Cheers

Ahhhh, here it is. Didn't see this post here until now. I was wondering what was going on when I saw a bunch of people standing around their cars out there. I can actually hang out for a while at a place this close to home. All the other meets are too far away for me to go to during the week and still able to get a full nights sleep :rolleyes:

Great turn-out this week (3/25). There were 27 cars, a LOT MORE Subies this time! (Thanx to Zoeb who got them to come)

The Dodge Dakota with the blue neon lights is what made it happn. Just wouldn't have been the same with out him. :rolleyes:

Yea this meet was cool, very diverse as well, most of the people were cool.

Ahhh, I didn't see that you guys moved it to Pleasanton. I could of made that one. Concord is too far to go during the week for me.

On the ECU tuning, I'm still debating whether or not they really do anything. My Vishnu tune didn't do anything for my car.

It is more convenient for most of the regulars to have it at Pleasanton In-N-Out. If you live in concord, why not make it out to Pleasanton? it's a 20 minute drive at most.

The cops usually do not hassle us because no one does anything stupid like Parking Lot races or burnouts.

oh i'll be there i just wished i'd had read up before going out last thurs to ckk :). so it takes 20min.?i'll have to time the sti and see how she does:) any speed limit :)

LOL i appologize to anyone who ended up going to CKK. It was a last minute change because everyone who wanted it to be at CKK told me they wouldn't make it anyway.

This meet needs to change to monday or wednesday nights for the next 3 weeks.... the last 3 episodes of friends are gonna be on, on thursday nights :p
