So I bought this '98 Legacy Brighton. Er... I'm working on buying this '98 Legacy Brighton. It has 14" steel wheels. I will be on the lookout for some different wheels for it, and I want to know what other Subaru wheels will fit it. I guess in particular I want to know if Impreza wheels will fit.

Yup they will fit with NP.

Just make sure you put on the right size tire...

Uh... is there a guideline for tire size or do I have to figure this one out on my own? I guess if it's possible I'd like to go to a 15" wheel with a tire that has about the same circumference to limit speedo error.

Right- So you have to pick the right size tire to keep your speedo in check.

So stock WRX wheels will be aok... just have to double check. Messing up could be expensive.

With Stock WRX wheels, you'll want tires that are P205/55R16 or P205/50R16 or P215/50R16

Option 1 = You're speedo will read 61.7 when your actual speed is 60.
Option 2 = Speedo reads 59.7 when your actual speed is 60.
Option 3 = Speedo reads 60.7 when your actual speed is 60.

I'd go with the 55 series to fill the fender gap better and ride nicer too, but the 215 will handle better having the wider tire.

Yeah... I figured i'd go with the 205/55-16 since it's the stock WRX size. In fact, isn't that also the size that Legacy GTs use?
