Anyway, does anyone run 17x8" wheels with 245/45/17? I was looking into getting some but was concerned about rubbing, or not being able to turn etc... If anyone runs this setup do you have any problems with it? Thanks..

i think you will rub for sure with that big of a tire...i have never seen that on ANY subaru..unless the fenders are rolled..A LOT...even then i dont kno if they would clear...

Look for Autocross threads on the other WRX board in the Motorsports forum on wide tires. Those guys know how to make them fit.

I just put some 17X7 rims with some some low pros on my sooby and I rub a little bit on sharp turns, my guess is that with 17x8 you will most likley rub.
