If any one was looking for a dash kit, here is a dash kit for STi's - this is the first accurate one I've seen besides the OEM sim carbon fiber.

I know this should probably be in another forum (mods feel free to move it) but I wanted STi owners to see this and many may not spend a lot of time on the other forums.

I am not affilated w/ the site in any way, just an fyi.

Is it stick on or does it replace the stock pieces?? From what I've seen the stick on types usually look horrible and is not worth the money

It looks like the Torasport stick-on kit.

no way it would be real carbon fiber but the pics look amazing.

It's real carbon fiber, but it's the stick-on type. Not total replacement pieces.

I checked Toraport's website, and they make kits for the 95-97 and 00-01 Legacy.

They have a materials section where they have samples that you can click on to see what they look like in more detail. Once you select a kit, you have to put it in your shopping cart/basket and there is a drop down menu with the materials selection and price.

The 2x2 carbon fiber looks like what I am used to seeing carbon fiber look like - the tight weave looks like its name - it looks like the 2x2, but the individual squares look at least 1/2 as small as the 2x2 weave. Check on the materials and click on the samples and you will see clear differences.

I didn't realize (but probably should have based on their name - Dealer Direct - that they do OE stuff for a few carmakers including Toyota).

Hopefully I won't be disappointed when the kit comes in.
