My car just recently started doing this, when ever it rains it fogs up all the windows on the inside of the car and i cant see sh*t, if i put the cold air on the windsheild goes away but the rest of them are fogged up, plus if it gets cold at night ,i get frost on the inside of the car on the windows especially the windsheild and the bank one, any idea why this is happening?

the fogging of the windows is condensation on the windows, this happens when you have a temperature difference between the inside and outside and moisture in the air. when you breathe, your breathe has a high humidity, this causes the inside of your car to have a high humidity as well, and because the outside of the car is colder than the inside that humidity turns to water on the window because when the air touches the window it cools down causing the water to be released which makes a foggy window

it makes sense, but the thing is that, like during normal sunny day, but cold outside, the windows dont fog up at all, but after leaving it over night, next day in the morning i have frost on the inside not on the outside of the windows, hope i explained my self

the sun doesn't allow the moisture to condense onto the window, the over night thing is the moist air on the inside of the car condensing onto the cold window

it is just i have never had this problem with any other car i have had, previously, and i dont know anyone out of my friend who have this problem

I had this same problem last week. What I found to to be the cause was too much moisture inside the cab. I live in Colorado and went snowboarding so snow from my boots melted onto my floor mats. For about three days, the windows would completey fog over no matter how hard the defroster was blowing. I started cracking my windows when I was done driving to let the moister vent out. This has worked perfectly for me. You may want to try it and see if it helps.

seems you may have a faulty seal on the glass and moisture is coming inside and freezing in that Ohio winter weather.

I had this same problem with the ice and fog, all you have to do is make sure that your air setting is set to fresh air and not re-circulate, this fixed the fogging problem 100% in my car, I've heard from other people had the same results.

If i do have a faulty seal, any idea if the warranty covers it, cuz i read it it talks about welds and sh*t but nothing about seals? any idea, THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME OUT

I had a 97 Saturn that would frost up on the inside. I would have to actually scrap the inside of the windshield.

Turns out that the car door also leaked when it rained. After getting that fixed, it didn't freeze on the inside AS MUCH. It still did a little bit.

Thank guys this place is awesome, yeah i actually found the stupid window seal where the air is getting through, i am going to dealership tommorow, i hope the warranty covers that

on cold days... this is what i do:

turn the temperature to warm/hot , click on the a/c button (keeps the air dry), and it just gets rid of any fog...

I guess i do the same for rainy days, i don't remember... it's been a while.

close your vent's at night keep fog down on the windows in the morning

in my neon, i actually just put antifog on the inside windows, works well
