so im drivin home from SF this afternoon
i noticed 1st and 2nd gear sort of rattle a bit but this goes away after drivin a bit

i hvae no problems on the freeway (btw, hi to all those subies who waved at me)

i get home and turn off the car, this noise comes from the engine/underneath me, exactly like knocking/rattling noise

does it only when i turn the car off and on, almost like something is bumping against something, but it seems like it could be worse than that :(
help me please

no cel's or anything

Did you check to make sure your exhaust hasn't broken a mounting bracket?

I noticed a click sometimes, it seems to come from the front driver's side wheel well but only when I'm romping on the gas. Unfortunately I have no fixes because I can't make it do it consistently enough to go see a technician.

Check the heatshield where the muffler connects at. Some how my heatshield was all loose and rattling.

chaning the oil right now b/c it was below the E :o

i noticed that heat shield, enxt to the exhaust manifold is just sitting there, not a single screw holding it in place
hopefully this is it

does the engine shake enough to move this thing back and forth?
