Anyone one know what needs to happen to make it fit in a 02 or 03 wrx?

nothing. i plugs right in
but when the shiftlight is on, you wont hear that buzzing sound as you would on a sti.

you probably would want to get some sensors with it to use up all the features on the cluster

I agree it should plug right in....I don't know about the wiring harness tho because of the DCCD stuff.

It does plug right in, but not everything works properly - there is an extensive thread on nasioc in the electrical forum from a number of people trying to work out the details.
