t-wrexxx 01-03-2004, 10:41 PM Is that gap in the back just a hole to let air escape through?
WindingRoad 01-03-2004, 10:46 PM i guess you dont need ac anymore
whitelegacy98 01-03-2004, 11:53 PM nice, but is it functional?
Imprezer 01-04-2004, 12:31 AM I need one of those. I removed my AC and I will die in summer if I don't get it. ;)
DoomE.Q. 01-04-2004, 01:06 AM That Rally look is coming along nice. I just hope the roof scoop is functional ;). Good luck finishing it :D

Soup Nazi 01-04-2004, 05:44 PM Looks great. I want to get one too but always end up putting it off...for another part
minisiu 01-04-2004, 11:02 PM well, i wish this is functional too!.
Does anyone know how much does it cost to make this function??
What is the down side?
Because i hear it might leak water or it makes the car weaker and make the roof weaker too??
Looks good, get your sawzall on!
WRXPRESS 01-05-2004, 02:49 PM Screw making that functional man...If you've got AC what's the point. Keep it as is. You are just using it for the looks anyway I wouldn't go thru the hassle of leaks or bugs or leaking bugs.
Looks awesome....Save up for those prodrives!!
DanyoCantDrift 01-06-2004, 02:14 PM looks awesome, but yeah like everyone in here is asking, does it work??? or is it just for looks (not to say it doesnt look bad arse!) but yeah if its functional then two thumbs up good good job!!!

It's just a guess, but one downside might be whistling noises or other unpleasant noises at high speeds?

hahhaah, agreed, check out primitive racing for a functional vent. It wont hurt the structual integrity and wont leak if done properly...GO FOR IT
qbbraveheart 01-07-2004, 11:06 AM nice...not really crazy about putting stickers on cars though

IMO A rally car replica should have a functional hood scoop.
The look is fine already (damn fine at that as I said before) but the form should follow the same function as the vehicular inspiration. You gotta go all out with the rally look. And that means cage, decals, scoops, seats, everything. Can't skimp out on the small details that make it authentic. The decals, lights, hood, wing, etc all look good. But there is some work left to do before it's even close to a rally car 'replica' ... You've got a good start going. Go to primitive and make that vent functional. Then post more pics!
