I just installed this the other day and I have some very strange noises and rattles now after the install. On deceleration there is a rattle, at about 1800RPM there is a huge exhaust resonance that wasn't there before, and a few more tidbits of sounds that scare the crap out of me. I was wondering if I even installed these things right.

Looking at the instructions here:

I dont seem to have the same thing as what is pictured. Looking at the picture below, I dont have that top black bushing that goes over the whiteline bushing.

Also, the bushings just seem to be spacers and dont exactly fit within the rear diff support. But in the picture, it looks like it fits within the rear diff support mount.

Any idea's guys/gals?

It is actually a metal plate, not a bushing. There's a gap between it and the old bushing, the new one just gets sandwiched in-between.

In the picture above that is a bushing. On the car, it's a metal plate like you said. I'm guessing that the picture is from an older Impreza.

Either way, I installed it right. But I had no clue that it would increase NVH so much. It's actually pretty uncomfortable and I may remove it and sell it. :( The additional noises, rattles, and exhaust resonance is pretty harsh.

...I just put these on my '06 WRX wagon...first mod woohoo! Just wanted to confirm that i DO NOT need the small thick rings (4mm i think) for the bottom right????

I used the two big rings...thick one on top, thin on bottom. Please tell me I did this right. **Holds breath**

Got the pink wagon springs next but before I tackle that I wanna make sure I didn't f'up this simple one.
