WTF haha last time I was in yelm, it was white trash done there. But this was like 8 years ago though :) You have a very nice car. So does your friend. Whats the mod list for your car? You should come to our next meet. Which will probably be a while because of the bad weather.

Hahahaha yeah still a hick town:D Thanks my car will look even better in a few days with thr 19's. Sure i'll try to come to your guys meets. I have FK coilovers, ATP 3" DP,TT 2.5" Catback with hidden tip, Joe P MBC,Stiffer motor mounts,Other little mods.

Definetley post pics when you get the 19's on. You excited about the R32 coming? I think thats whats it called... No GIAC chip yet?

Not really excited for the price id rather have a STi or EVO7. I want to get a APR chip. I will post pics of my 19's.

The only silver WRX I've ever seen in Yelm was Ferg's, and he only passes through to see his parents. So I'll assume you're talking about me, i'ts not a WRX though, it's an RS.

I dont know i see him almost everyday. Well got my 19's on. gave a thumps up some somesilver WRX. I will look of if you see me give you a thumps up then you know its me.

I'm in Yelm all the time lately so maybe it was me. I've seen a few silver GTIs down there, one with a BIG "VW" logo in the rear window, and then one without.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

I work at jack in the box and im sure i dont have a VW logo. Some other kid has a GTi too but they traded it for a Xterra. So there will be only 1 silver GTi n 19's in yelm ME.

I definately feel like a standout when I'm down there! I've never seen so many rusted out beat-down trucks and 70s American junkers as I do around Yelm....or even worse Bucoda.

I got stuck behind a rig pulling a burned out RV on 507 once...it was just dropping huge chunks of body panels everywhere as it went down the road...nice.

But the people are always pretty cool and and I've only been hasseled for my exhaust twice...both times by Roy police but I know it's because they have nothing better to do.

I was referring more to the kids with their hooked up Elantras and Tercels and unpainted body kits rather than the rusty redneck automobiles. The rust buckets really don't bug me, unless they're pouring out smoke. But the rice...the rice makes my eyes burn. I always shake my head in disapproval when I drive by some rice....hoping that they will take a hint.

Yeah we have feakin geo's withwings bodykitsris, ugly ish. Every damn civic has Alteezas. There is one nice civic at my school nice and clean with a GSR swap. But the idiot sold his real spoon ris for some ugly ones. When i roll up everybody just looks like they never seen a nice car before. Man i need stage 3 because i get a factory bodykit.

I was trying to see if those O.Z. rims rubbed or not.....they're huge!

Now that you guys mention the "rice", I've been noticing it too. I saw an Escort with a "GTR" badge....I think he wasn't being serious. I see an Accord all the time with a huge rear wing, otherwise it looks stock. Well, he's got seatbelt pads.....and that really serious expression the drivers always wear.

Thanks for the compliment on my car...it's getting tint on Friday and Rotas next week. Just in time for the gravel trucks to start up agian....

Yeah the front runs a little,the back is tucked a little. Yeah i see all kinds of stupud ish at yelm. One of my managers has a red WRX and tells me its a 2.3L Riiiigghhttttttt I just play it off and say cool. I think she just gets a little excited and says alot of bull****. My friend owns a white WRX and i kow what where capable. Well hope i see you again.

Wow. I grew up in Oly, live in SoCal now, but back in the day me & some friends got kicked off the Yelm HS campus while waiting for friends....

Now Yelm's got the best theater in Thurston County.... not bad for a town that got it's first stop light back in about 85....

Agreed, the movie thearter there is probably the nicest I've been to in the Northwest. It's the only thearter I've ever been to where people don't talk, or put their feet up, and actually throw away their trash after the film...
