Hi, I was just wondering who has done this, problems, upsides, downsides, thoughts, gas milage, how much can the 2.5 tranny w/ new(aftermarket) flywheel/clutch hold before you need to upgrade the transmission completely, how much time/work/money was put into it. I know some places, i-speed, lachute, rallispec have all done this. anyone know about vermont auto sports or something like that doing it. I know they build total rally cars, but wondering if they have done customer street cars as well. Any other input would be great, thanks. peace ~Erick

Chris from I-speed has the EJ20 with the 2.2 tranny on it.

I have an EJ20 mated up with the 2.5RS tranny. So far no problems. I am also running an upgraded Exedy clutch and lightweight flywheel. The tranny has had 43k on it before getting the EJ20 treatment and so far still no problems at all. If you check www.i-speedusa.com my car is the White one on their website.

Yeah definitly have to aggree, very nice ride. I saw it before, had to stop myself from drolling all over the place. What kind of gas milage do you get ImprezaRSdriver? I have chatted with Chris is it at I-Speed a litte on this, so I am just trying to get a broader opinion, take in everyone who has done this swap. Again thanks man, peace. ~Erick
