Anybody have a cheap mountain bike they want to sell?
It's time for my pudgy *** to get into shape. Title says it all, I don't want to spend more than $100, yes I said $100. I don't want anything fancy, no shocks or anything like that, but I don't want it to be pink either.
Furthermore, anybody have any suggestions for places that sell used bikes? I'm about to head to a store called "mikes bikes" in pleasant hill, as they are supposed to have a good selection of cheap used bikes.

come on you guys, 100 bucks for a USED mountian bike?
- late 80's early 90's vintage low buck Taiwanese hardtail- any of those old production clunkers that were $300-350 new can't be worth any more than that!
but from the looks of it, if you can go up to 160-180 it gets you a whole lot more, maybe even something that wouldn't be totally embarassing to be seen on.:banana:

hmm $100...I am tempted to sell you my mountain bike. It's in really good condition (hasn't been used much so it's like brand new) and looks pretty good. I'll post some pics when I get my hands on a digital camera.

If you spend 100 on a bike you mine as well throw ur money out the window, for a decent mtb now a days in like 1500. ebay might have some good deals dont get anything from wal-mart target costco . get it from a acual bike shop not from some shiesty company haveing there bikes built by 16 olds for 6.75hr. I went there the other day no joke the fork was on backwards.

I have a Nishiki manitoba. Its about 5 years old. It saw an accident about a year or so ago. I think its just a caes of bent rims and maybe a brake problem. Easily fixable. I got it all for about $450. I'll sell it to you for $100. Two sets of rims, ones with street skinnies and one with nubbs. Of course, one of the 2 front rims is bent... but that's the cheaper one to replace. Let me know if you wanna take a look.

damn i got to get my schwinn fixed man....
i used to have this kickass redline proline, stainless steel, chromed out cause i took off the stickers, put on some shimano red V brakes, damn thing was hawttttt! but then i left the garage open one day and some bunghole stole it!!
