I have a clean 1993 Subaru Impreza FWD L model. I picked up this car as a fixer-upper (it needed an engine). I had my mechanic drop in a 1.8L with 103,000 miles on it (runs great). Unfortunately the transmission is shot! 3rd, 4th and 5th do not work (grinds but doesn't engage). I took a gamble on this vehicle and *LOST BIG*! Now I just want it GONE!
