$1700 sounds like a good price. I have an idea, how about you trade your gold wheels to me for my 1 month old silver STi wheels and maybe you will have better luck selling the silver since someone that doesn't have a suby might be more interested in silver than gold. It could open up your market a little, i've noticed a lot of people don't understand the gold wheel subaru thing and those without subarus think they are ugly or we are trying to pimp or something. Anyway, just an idea.

sell them quick if you are planning to! Silvers were going for over 2K and golds for around 1800 on ebay a couple months ago, I sold my silvers last month for just 1700 and I havent seen anyone get over 1500 for golds:(

hmm well i had another idea. i was thinking i'd keep the gold ones and save some money and get the wheels i want and just get some Advan A048's for the BBS ones for my track days. i'd trade if i still wanted to sell them but..eehh why are the silvers going for so much and why is everyone liking them. i think they look good but i think i'd sill take gold over them. oh well. thanks for the ideas thogh. oh yeah and orinda is in CA Northern CA close to Oaklan. and i wanted Volk racing even though those prodrives look nice.

Well then your in the minority. Most people just cant get into the gold wheels, its one of those love it or hate it affairs. Or you could do what I did, sell the sti wheels/tires, buy a set of Rota SDRs(still 17lbs each) you can get them new for $500 a set, and still have enough left over to put good tires on;)

that's not a bad idea eather. but i guess for now i can stick with them cause it's not like i have changed anything on the car yet. plus i need money for the Tokyo Auto Salon. so wheels can wait. i might just find some other wheels i like better there.

why would gold be worth less?

who said anything about the gold being worthless? They definitly do not go for as much as the silvers though, thats just a fact.

Gold definitely looks better on blue than silver.

i think gold is pimp. maybe toooooo pimp. :)
Silver is a much more "common" color. It's less flashy.
People think that silver is much more of a universal and accepted color.

personally, Golds would looks sweet on my black. but Silvers would be just as nice. i'd buy em if i had the money right now. lol.

cuscosti, how you doing?
