Bump for an awesome unit!
If you live in Ca, you will not find a better Ka band detector.
This thing is awesome. I have had mine for about a year, and it has saved me thousands.
You can program it to only listen for k, ka, or X (Nobody out here has X band anymore, so I turned that off) CHP uses digital KA, and it is harder than hell to detect on my Cobra XR1010 ( A high end unit) but the 8500 just picks it up and runs with it.
Also, It will display the frequencies! THat is so awesome. Military grade gear...
Buy it...you will not find it ANYWHERE for less than 299.99 (Best buys price).
