Already posted this in BAIC, but I wanted to share this uselessness with all of i-club!

Built the mount today out of an old gba pelican light I had. It was purple, painted it black and screwed it into my stereo pocket.

Thanks to PogoShell my GBA can play NSF (8-bit nintendo music), MOD, and SID (c64 music), display bmps and text files, play NES roms, etc.

Upcoming features will include backlite screen, black case, intergrated power (gba turns on when car turns on), less obvious audio cable, and animated logo/splash screen with 3d Subaru/STi/2.5RS Logo.

Since it's not clear... the first pic is a screen of NSF files (megaman 1-6 showing), second is pic of my car, third is pic of my friend drifting his OBS in the Nevada snow.

Here's some samples of the 3D/Photoshop stuff we've had to do to get the animated logo screen going. All the images are ready, just need to send them off the to the GBA programmer so he can make it into a "game" file. :)

nice work! :D im kind of a newbie to those gameboy advance,
but do they have capability to connect external controllers so that
you can play the games from your seat?

i was thinking about doing something like that using ps1 screen.

I'm not sure about that. It would be neat though cause there's a lot of car games with subies in them (old and new bodystyle).

Mine is in there just to play music and display the logo screen so I'm not worrying about playing games.

It's going to look a whole lot better when I get the black case and the backlit screen. :)

Here's the test animation. It should run faster once the progammer guy gets it into a GBA file.

I got mine @ www.lik-sang.com, but I don't think they have them anymore for some reason. Check out: www.gamegizmo.com

Yeah Alan... I am on the fence with that new one. I need to buy one right now since I fried my old one... but I don't think the new one is out until March... hmmmm... buy a "pre-modded" afterburner GBA now, or wait for the official Nintendo one in March.....

Why would you hook up a GBA to you're car? Its a handheld game system, so whats the point???
