By popular demand, the Friday DC Starbucks meet has been relocated to Mission Plaza in Daly City. It is relatively close to DC Starbucks, so most people should still be able to show.

nope its been there, along Nations, Uno Mas, i think its at the corner of a parking lot

2) cut me off

looks like you haven't had a lot of years of driving eh?? its ok, you will get used to it (the driving, auto, manual or what not) you can never be too prepared for anything that will happen once you get behind the wheel in the streets, freeway, things that are in your control or not etc... you just have to use best judgement and the best you can do (safety driving skills) when faced by a situation...so telling this other driver never to do that, will not assure you it will never happen again...you just have to relax while you drive, alert enough, but relax....seems like you are too paranoid with the scoob, its ok, its only a car, and we can always get another one if isht happens...

1. i was going 65-70 in my lane before you went and cut in front of me. sped off.

2. by the time i was at 80 you were still pulling away.

3. driving off faster than 80mph because you feel crowded is very safe...

If this was on friday, i had a little bit of a desire to get the hell home because i was stuck for half an hour going from embarcadero to union square because they closed off a few roads. Then my friends had to wait 3 hours to get into the cheescake factory. You can call it road rage, i know i did, but i was talking to Norcal and i didn't remember asking for your opinion on how I drive. If you think i'm a hypocrite then tell me, but wait until i resolve the initial issue before budding in.

And don, i asked him to try and not do it again, i didn't think that he wouldn't, but i felt that i needed to say it to make myself feel better.

And Norcal, its all good man, i understand your excitement with your new car, i was just a little freaked out (as were my family) when you zoomed right past me and had to brake hard. Just be careful dude, i don't wanna have to call dibs on your parts =P

Not on 280 usually, and not when there's a bit of traffic, i like to drive the twisties more than highway race, there's huge speed discrepencies between all the cars a lot of the times......why there was a guy doing 45 in the 2nd lane to the right on 280n @ 1 in the morning, i was going 65 and i guess i lapsed a second in concentration (i was tired as hell) and i almost ran into him

Since most of us seem to be in the Sunset area, why not we meet at Stonestown's rear lot at 7:30 (or whatever time is convenient) and head out for some "tong sui" (Chinese deserts) at this great place called Kowloon Tong. It's on 7th between Geary and Clement, across from the used car lot near the GAP. I figure we can meet up at Stonestown first then caravan out to Kowloon Tong. Parking tends to be not to difficult there either... at least last time I was there. So whaddya all say? :D

that sounds like a very good ideal, but there is a lot of thugs there at that "tong sui po" (chinese desert shop) kowloon tong. how about going to the "tong sui po" on geary blvd. called "tim tim mut yur" instead, where old baskin robbins used to be. it's at the corner of geary and 22nd avenue. yeah, meeting at stonestown's at 7:30pm or whatever time is cool too.
