Hello,
My name is Ted Brockwood and I represent Microsoft Games Studios. Since you're all fans of the WRX (obviously!) I thought I'd share some screens of the WRX in action in the upcoming Xbox title, Project Gotham Racing 2, which comes out next week.

I'll spare you the whole marketing pitch and just say that PGR2 is a really great racing game which will allow you to race other WRX fans (or fans of any of the more than 100 cars in the game) over Xbox Live's online multiplayer, all without ever scratching your paintjob or getting a ticket!

I thought I'd spare everyone a big download, and have posted a gallery page (http://www.aeginfo.com/temp/pgr2/wrx_gallery/) you can jump to and take a look at the screens we have.

There's going to be a Kudos system in place. Basically, the cooler the move you pull (powerslide, spinout, etc.) the more Kudos you earn, which can be used to unlock cars.

uh, it doesnt look as good as the original project gotham to me.
are those caps from an x box or a PC? wheres all the super shiny paint and smooth curves? and no anti aliasing?

ted, what is up with all of that Halo 2 hype? seriously though, when is it being released. tell me or I ROBOT dies.

Regarding Halo 2, the official story is "Spring 2004." I wish I had more info than that, but that's all I have at the time.

hey crowbar, remember we played this video game? it looked better than this new one, dont ya think? Maybe when its animated it looks better.

are we going to be able to mod the cars in pgr2?

Ya gotta play it, ROBOT. It looks much better than the first.

Sorry, there are no car mods. But there are more than 100 cars to earn/race, so there's plenty of variety.

Project Gotham 2 is great and opening up the Ferrari Enzo makes it worth slogging through courses behind the wheel of an MR2 Spyder! There is a great feel to each car, each has specific handling for that model. For instance the WRX Sti does great drifts into turns like in real life but of course exagerated for the game. The WRX stays straight into the turn just like in real life and if you didn't know what car it was you could tell just by driving it. Good times :banana:

I got PGR 2 this weekend, it rocks! It's no GT3 but it's fun.
