Does anyone have a unichip
I'm ordering a unichip stage one and i am wondering if any of you have any experience with this. I should've bought the UTEC but it's too late now.
Has anyone had any problems with the setting s that they already come with when adding new parts, such as intercoolers or larger VF30's?
Please advise....Thanks

only problem with unichips is that if your not "done" modding, it's going to be a pain in the *** to keep sending it back to get reflashed.
and AFAIK unichips are only 02 compatible.

I may just install everything and then wait to see what happens. I'm just assuming that the stage 1 wasn't programmed to be used with an upgraded turbo/intercooler. If the car runs fine, i may leave it as is. If I run into problems, i may have to send the unichip back to get re-programmed for the additional things i put on.
I was hoping that someone here in hawaii had already ran this setup already and i wanted to see how their car was doing with the upgrades.

Do you have supporting fuel hardware (injectors, pump) for the turbo/intercooler?
If so - the car is going to run like KAKA without engine management programmed specifically for it.
If you don't have the supporting hardware - you car is going to be a LOT leaner than you want it to be. You're going to be hanging those stock little injectors open like crazy at higher rpm's...
I used to hit 100% injector duty cycle here in Hawaii (on-topic!)
with the stock turbo and intercooler in the 5.5k+ rpm range.
